Located near the South Gate entrance .. staff and manager was friendly room are big .. with heater and aircon .. out door and in door bath room .. very nice deco of the room . Worth every dollar spend .. dinner was nice just a bit on the high side .. with the variety of food .. any way 10/10

A lovely place very near the addo. Food was amazing, definitely don't be on a diet! Staff very accommodating and pleasant. An honesty bar is available with a range of drinks. Lovely see plash pool and gardens.

Next to Addo park, ideal. Beautiful rooms to see. Fridge was not cold, showering outside was not our thing. It was made for our dinner without us asking. We checked in at 6:30 PM and had to eat there at 7 PM. We had already eaten so we said thanks. They wanted us to pay. Ultimately they indicated that it was a miscommunication. We had sent an email to see if they had vegan options before we traveled (intended for breakfast in terms of options). And they interpreted this as a reservation for a vegan dinner??! So be very careful with this! Ultimately you don't have to pay. Our fellow non-vegans had a delicious meal there. Breakfast was very limited. No vegan options as stated. At all, just jam for sandwiches and nothing else. Many guests brought something with them to put on bread, which was very strange. The juice glasses were also mini size, 2 sips. Was the breakfast with least options during our entire stay. Wouldn't book here again unfortunately.

Perfect location for driving into Addo. Very friendly host and service. Also the dinner was good. There was also the option to book a safari through the host and like he said, this was really worth it.

Simonie could not have been more helpful. Felt very comfortable here. Loved the outdoor shower! Decor was Africaans feel, given a breakfast as we were out early to take with us in a cool bag. It’s a 45 min drive to Addo Main Camp if you are doing any led game drives.

Wow what an amazing place. The lodges are extremely comfortable with everything you need in them, the location is perfect for safari, the food is lovely, traditionally African with so much choice and the staff were just perfect. From the waiting staff to the Reception everyone was so friendly. But what made it even more perfect was Wesley one of the managers. He was above and beyond helpful, helping to organise our trips and even if there were problems we only knew about t hem when they'd been sorted. Every hotel in the world needs a Wesley. Whatever he is being paid.... its not enough. Thank you to everyone

Staff where very accommodating and the place is stunning, very helpful on things to do in the area. Food was good at our evening meal and the honesty bar was fully stocked, easier to get drinks this way instead of waiting to be served.

We stayed at Elephants Footprint Lodge for a night-- it is perfectly located both to Addo (near the south gate), and also to Schotia (which is important as it is easy to get back to if you come back from there late in the evening). The lodge is super nice, with a great hall, honesty bar, spacious rooms with big bathrooms and private outdoors showers, and most importantly, the staff is super friendly and helpful!

We had a very nice stay in beautiful surroundings. The service at the lodge is very friendly and forthcoming. The property is very close to the famous Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape and is a very good basis to explore these highly interesting area.
