Orient Beach Hotel

This Hotel was wonderful. The room was great, there was a small kitchenette with a bistro table. The bed was a king size and we also had the two oversize chairs in the room. The beach was a 1-2 minutes walk. It was a great location, we were able to walk to the village.

My wife and I have stayed at rient Beash hotel a number of times and have thoroughly enjoyed each stay. The hotel is perfectly located with all rooms facing the beach. The staff (Florence and Junior ) are great and couldn't be more helpful. The roome were immaculate with very comfortable mattress. The complementary continental breakfast at next door Kakao is enough to start the day. In addition the hotel offers complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas at several of the beach restaurants along with the ability to charge meals at many of the beach bars/restaurants. All in all I can't say enough good about the Orient Beach Hotel. We will certainly go back.

Nice, large, clean room. But I noticed the housekeeping did not really clean the room. They really only replaced our towels and tidied up the bathroom a little bit. You also have to ask for replacement beach towels. They only provide 1 water bottle in the room. You can purchase more for 3 euros each. The bathroom also does not have air conditioning or a fan to circulate the air. They provide shampoo and lotion. Must bring your own conditioner and other toiletries. The complimentary breakfast includes coffee, juice, fruits, bread, cold cuts, and mini croissants. You can purchase other dishes, such as scrambled eggs, and charge it to your room. The reception button on the room phone did not work. We told the receptionist, and all they said was "Oh, it should work." When we checked out, the other receptionist said they'd look into it. The hair dryer is terrible and very very weak, and it takes a lot of work to get it to turn on and stay on. I've never seen one like it. It turns on by clamping your hand on the handle which acts like a lever, and you have to keep your hand clamped on it in order to stay powered on while you dry your hair. Not good. Also, the bathroom plus is attached to this hair dryer, which was extremely weak. My curling iron wouldn't turn on. I had to use a plug on the nightstand and use my phone camera as a mirror. Note: Receptionist/concierge is not available 24/7. They provide a phone number to call for emergencies. Big plus: + proximity to restaurants + complimentary access to neighboring restaurants and their beach chairs + only 10 minute taxi ride to the Pinel Island ferry A true 3-star experience.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The room we had faced the ocean sowe could listen to the surf. Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful also. We didn't really know what to expect but the room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved everything except for 1 mishap, the shower floor is extremely slick while using shampoo or soap. There was no bath mat so we ended up having to use towels on the shower floor. Luckily I did not break anything but had quite a few bruises which kind of disappear under the tan. We arrived with a smile and we left with a smile. Lovely vacation.

There is no more perfect place for me in St. Martin than the Orient Beach Hotel. I love its elegant yet supremely comfortable decor, the entire wall of soul-stirring ocean (in every room!) and, perhaps most of all, the warm, professional, all-round wonderful staff.

Had a great time! The hotel's location is ideal, on the beach, close to stores & restaurants. The staff is attentive. Unfortunately, the beach & on site restaurant was closed during our stay, but it turned out to be a plus. We ate next door @ La Playa hotel, which had a fabulous breakfast buffet. We were also able to go to 3 other beaches without having to pay the $30euros for 2/chairs & umbrella. Thank you Orient Beach for your hospitality.

What a wonderful experience we had at the Orient Beach Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and well laid out for a relaxing visit. Florence at the front desk was so accomodating, no request was ever too much and it seemed she was always there to assist. The breakfast at Le Plague was plentiful and tasty. The selections of good restaurants with a brief walking distance were many and so many various food types from which to choose. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of St. Martin in a casual, relaxed style. Thank you Florence for a fabulous holiday!

My wife and I spent 3 nights here after spending 4 nights of celebrating a birthday and our anniversary with a large group. . The rooms are beautiful and have great views. Junior was so accommodating at the front desk and he met all of our needs. Thank you for the top floor room! We tried 3 different beach clubs and ate dinner at some of the finest French cuisines in the plaza. Everything is within walking distance. My wife and I were really able to decompress and reconnect on this trip. We can’t wait to make a return visit.

We found the Orient Beach Hotel to be a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. Our room was clean and spacious. The entire team is top notch and very responsive in accommodating our interests. We highly recommend Orient Beach Hotel for a visit to St Maarten!
