Woke up to the sound of dripping water on my first morning in the hotel. Turned out the ceiling was collapsing over the tub. A large section appeared to have fallen in, with a large amount of water being retained by paint that had separated from the ceiling and wall. It was obvious this was not new damage. I had checked into the hotel late the previous evening after a long day of cancelled and rescheduled flights and hadn’t noticed the condition with the shower curtain drawn. I find it difficult to believe the hotel would ask anyone to stay in such a room at all. Very sad. If given an opportunity later in this review process, I will include a picture of the ceiling to show how bad and obvious the damage was. I was relocated to a new room. It was slightly better. The bathroom ceiling was cracked and badly stained by rust, but it wasn’t leaking, so that was an improvement. I was on a four day business trip. During the remainder of my stay,I was never able to get the water temperature above tepid. Nothing like a lukewarm shower on a cold Colorado morning to start your day. I provided the hotel with a review of my stay. I was contacted by a manager who apologized for the situation and invited me to stay with them again in the future. Wow! I don’t think that will happen.

Overall, a nice clean hotel. The 3 star review comes from no early departure breakfast to-go option, no sheets or pillows provided in the room for sofa bed, and had to pay for parking in an non- city location. i. e. There is no shortage of parking and no reason to charge.

I liked that the hotel had a living room space, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The cleaners never cleaned my room and parking was $10 per day.

Nice clean room! Only issue is shower head did not work, to late in stay to switch rooms!

The person at the front desk had the personality of a dirty ashtray. The place was nice and clean, the room was comfortable and clean. the breakfast was okay. The location is inconvenient to get in and out of. No airport shuttle was a bummer. Front Desk said no taxi services in the area, recommended Lyft or Uber. Waitress at a nearby restaurant recommend call "ZTrip", which worked like a charm. I just made a bad choice of where to stay.

A/C unit in room was underpowered and couldn’t keep the room clean. Facility is tired and in need of a refresh. One morning breakfast was not served and signs were placed saying they didn’t have enough staff to serve breakfast and we could go to the hotel across the street

First of all, the property was out in the middle of nowhere. The parking lot was not well maintained. I don't recall any trees or shrubs or anything attractive about the property. The carpet was dirty as I walked in, the front desk area and breakfast area were together, and it was dark and unwelcoming. The front desk clerk was nice. The elevator was dark and as I reached the floor my room was on it felt like a ******* hotel. The hallway was dark and narrow and the doors to the rooms were dirty and had markings on them like they needed to be painted. The room was dingy and had an unpleasant odor. The furniture was old and the couch had stains. The pictures on the wall looked like they came from a dollar store. The patio furniture outside was torn and unraveling. The patio was not swept or clean. There were people outside in the parking lot smoking (I can't say for sure what they were smoking!) and I did not feel safe. I refused to stay, and although I paid for the insurance in case I was delayed or needed to leave early I was charged the first night because I cancelled. This hotel was misrepresented and totally unacceptable! I will never stay in another Marriott hotel after this experience. I moved to a Hampton Inn that was the same price and it was clean, well maintained, safe and the staff was exceptional.

The hotel is dated and very rundown, lacking any indication of maintenance. The front desk staff were cold and confrontational on every interaction. For example, I was treated poorly for asking for the total authorization amount on my card prior to a charge. Additionally, the pool sign said 11 pm but the staff told us that and it was “actually 10 pm.” Why not change the sign rather than mislead guests and then lecture them when they try to use the dinky rundown pool? While they let our group use the pool until 11, they were rude about it. This was not worth the money and made me regret choosing Marriott.
