Royal Hideaway Corales Suites

Hotel was fabulous! Location was well placed for most of the restaurants that we ate at for our stay. The service around both the pool near Nao and the rooftop pool was second to none. A shout out to Diego and his team for setting up our beds every day and making sure that everything was perfect for us. The DJ that came on Xmas Eve and Xmas day was great! We loved the 80’s tracks and it really made our Xmas even more special. The concierge staff are very friendly and helpful and the cleaning team always made sure we had clean rooms and fresh towels and water daily. We also loved the turn down service and the chocolates left by our pillows most nights! Thank you Royal Hideaway Suites! We would definitely return and recommend to others.

This was our 5th or 6th visit to the hotel and were allocated room 1317, which is a 2 bedroom suite for our 3 week stay. Suites are well furnished, lovely balconies etc. Suite spotlessly clean. Cleaning staff lovely and friendly. Reception staff helpful. Our previous visits to the hotel have never presented any issues with the suite. This visit was very different. First problem was with the washing machine. The machine door would not open. Maintenance came and fixed it. Tried a wash, washing machine door would not open. Washing machine replaced. Washing machine door would not open. Washing machine replaced again. Door worked!!! but wouldn't do a washing because of no water. Maintenance came and opened the isolating valve. Worked after that surprisingly enough. Next the oven. Decided one night to eat in. Prepared dinner then tried to put the meal in the oven. Oven as new but dead, no power. Called maintenance. Maintenance man traced the issue to oven wires had never been connected to a power supply (true). Connected up and had a nice dinner if I say so myself. Next day came back to the apartment again and found the maintenance team changing out the oven. We advised them of the work that had been done the previous evening. Don't think I was believed about the wires. In summary there doesn't appear to be adequate checks done on the appliances and as for their maintenance management system there must be poor record keeping and no checks on works completed. It took 4 days of our holiday to resolve these issues. Starfish restaurant has some issues. There was strife between the head waiter and some of the staff on our first visit. On our second visit our party of 3 ordered different fish dishes. All 3 came out under cooked. Sent back to the grill, got the same pieces of fish back but overcooked. My wife and our friend had ordered the same dish so no idea who got which plate returned to them. Needless to say we didnt eat our meal. Head waiter (same one) TOLD us he would bring us another round of starters. He did then charged us. Nice one. In summary of Starfish - It takes some level of talent to undercook then overcook 3 pieces of fish on a grill when you are a seafood grill restaurant.

Lovely hotel and bedrooms are spacious and bright. Balcony is big and overlooks the sea. It could do with a sun umbrella as there’s no shelter from the sun. Room was cleaned every day and a turn down service every evening. Not sure why they put mats on the floor at each side of the bed every night. Surely a waste of water and energy for something that’s only cosmetic? There’s only an opaque glass door between the bedroom and toilet which doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Not a great design unless you’re a solo traveller. Breakfast was excellent. Great variety of options. We paid for half board but dinner was a disappointment. After 3 nights we went out and had dinner in local restaurants instead. For a hotel that prides itself on excellence in service and quality of restaurants, the Nao is not a quality offering. Food is mediocre at best. Prices for half board for a week is expensive. Unfortunately the combination of accommodation and food wouldn’t justify the price.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, offering a truly unforgettable experience. The facilities are very nice, with amazing rooms, exceptional service, and a beachfront location. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The rooftop pool is definitely the highlight! Highly recommended!

A few little issues but the staff are wonderful. Great location in La Caleta. We had deluxe suites which allows you to prepare your own food in a very well equipped kitchen. Full laundry facilities and full bathroom. Lovely private balcony with loungers, sofa, & dining table. We’ll be rebooking

Outstanding hotel, we have been to La caleta for many years staying in a private villa we decided on the hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary and how special the hotel made it. Fantastic suite , beautiful food , amazing cocktails the restaurants are super all the staff are authentic and sincere , a credit to the hotel. One of the hardest things to achieve in great customer service is to be “ consistently consistent “ irrespective of where you are in the hotel the staff are so warm and friendly, I must give a special shout out to Andreas at the pool everybody complimented him , everyday a warm smile couldn’t do enough for anybody round the pool please pass on our thanks , he makes the pool area the lovely environment it is, we are now booking for next year .. thank you for a wonderful holiday
