Very nice Staff & helpful ! Nice rooms , clean & beds are comfy ! Rooms have where if you want you can cook if needed ＞ Rooms have a kichen area in the room for you to use . Very nice thing to have when you are staying for few days or more ! Only no dishes , but they have some in lobby you can buy or rent like I think . I didn't use any so not sure what they are . Rooms are very nice . The breakfast you have to buy each day , wasn't to bad , it always nice to have hot stuff & other things to get . At least they offer something but you have to pay for it , that the bad part too! The other I enjoy the rooms & staff !

I had a poor experience at the Sheraton in Novi while staying with a family member to celebrate a belated Christmas as we weren't able to get together around Christmas proper. While I was upgraded to a room on the club lounge floor, the guest room I received was not clean by any definition of clean. There was hair on the desk and desk chair, hair on the toilet, hair under the toilet seat, hair on the wrapped bar of soap and soap dish, stains on the desk, and stains on the face tissue container. The single bathrobe hanging in the closet appeared to have been previously worn and didn't have a cincture. On my reservation I specifically requested only 100% feather pillows. My reservation also requested a bathrobe, slippers, extra pillows and extra towels. I didn't receive any of those things. The four pillows were four polyester down-alternative pillows. Those pillows are horrible. They always feel like someone stuffed cotton balls in a pillowcase. During check-in I noticed a sign at the front desk saying daily housekeeping is not provided, unless specially requested. The major cleanliness issues that I experienced are a direct result of what happens when hotels don't clean rooms and other spaces each and every day. I received zero Marriott Bonvoy elite status recognition. Specifically, I was not offered the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. I complained to the general manager, who to his credit acknowledged the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable, fully apologized and took responsibility. To resolve the issue, he offered to comp my stay and ensure that the room was thoroughly cleaned while we were out of the room and off-property at a nearby shopping mall. He also apologized for the lack of Bonvoy recognition and provided the $100 cash compensation that is required by Marriott for not offering guest with platinum or higher Bonvoy status the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. When we returned, the room was properly cleaned. The pillows were replaced with feather pillows, although none of the feather pillows had pillow protectors or pillowcase liners. Two clean bathrobes and two pairs of slippers were placed in the closet. The general manager was also kind enough to leave a bottle of wine in the room. My family member was really appreciative of that gesture. Despite the issues, the staff that I encountered throughout the stay were polite, welcoming and hospitable. That aside, there was zero excuse for the cleanliness issues or the lack of attention to what was specified on the reservation The club lounge was open with an average evening offering that included a selection of assorted cheeses, crackers, grapes, fruit and some basic canapés. Besides free nonalcoholic drinks, an honor bar featured cheap house wine ($5 retail bottles of wine) selling for $5 a glass. The club lounge is a nice smaller space. My family traveled a long way to attend our Grandmothers funeral some two months since she passed. It was a difficult trip to make on a good day, let alone dealing with all of the state to state restrictions. Theresa got us all checked in. Made sure we got some food and called to check on us periodically as we are not familiar with the area. She recommended places to eat and places not to eat. We made several modifications to our reservations through out the week and all of them were accommodated above and beyond. The hotel was clean, smelled good and all of the staff were smiling. You can always tell when someone is smiling when they are wearing a mask. It's hard to hide. You can tell that the hotel was short staffed, but everyone is. All of the front desk people and house keepers greeted us every morning and evening as we came and went. I thank them all.

The outside of this hotel makes it look quite clean and accommodating however, looks are deceiving. I was booked a room for 2 nights, (not cheap) and was assigned a room at the back of the hotel. The room was not as clean as it should be. The lamp in the corner was broken, there is a distinct lack of accessible plugs for laptops and cell phone. The carpet looked like it needed a good shampoo and the chair by the bed definitely needed an upholstery clean. The bathroom was far from clean with a dirty tissue dispenser, a portable mirror on the vanity was absolutely filthy underneath and the tile calking on the floor was brown with heavy staines. Even the room number on the telephone did not match the actual room number. The room safe was unable to be opened as the previous guest had locked it and left it with their own combination. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place. I decided to only stay the one night.

Our family appreciated the clean facility, professional staff, and the location to several venues and restaurants in the area. We plan to stay here again and recommend to other young families. This is also a great venue for weddings and other large parties. The outdoor bar/grill is excellent.

I come to this area every year for a classic car cruise and visit family. This is the closest hotel to my family. I have stayed here in years past and its been average. Nothing special but I don't spend a lot of time there to begin with. This visit the room was overcome with a musty odor. The only way to combat it was to run the A/C very high and keep the bathroom fanning running. After a day in the sun we would come back to this ice box. Without doing that the room smelled and none of the linens would dry. And it was't really that humid out. The Wifi was also very glitchy. These are enough factors that when I return next year I won't be coming back to this Hampton Inn.
