Nice and clean old hotel by the lake. Wonderful location close to the train station and the ferry port. There’s a construction site in front of the hotel but it did not bother us much. Great breakfast, delicious plums!

Very pleased with my stay at hotel Metropole Suisse. Great location, near to shopping, food and ferry. Hotel staff are lovely. The day of checkout, they even packed me a breakfast box to go!
Bathroom was recently updated, very clean and turn down service appeared to have happened while I was at breakfast!
No complaints, highly recommend

Great front staff, theybrealybtry to help. But parking in Como just s.....
Hotel is perfectly located in main area, can walk from there to any place, take boat for a ride on the lake and many more options

The hotel was lovely. It was an older building but had everything you needed, with a view of the lake from the balcony. I was a bit concerned that there would be noise from the square outside but with the shutters down I could barely hear anything. The staff were great too.

Great option as a base to see Como and the lake. Very convenient to the station, the lake and restaurants. We purchased the breakfast which was very good

The property is clean and well-maintained, and it's located in the center of the town so it's easy to get to it e.g. from the train station(Como Lago) and on/off the boats that take you to other towns around Lake Como.
In particular, we really liked and appreciated the front desk service. There was a lady there that spoke Italian, English, and a little bit of Russian and she was instrumental in helping us navigating around the area since it was our 1st time here, and helping us solve a big issue related to our luggage being damaged by the airline before we arrived to the hotel. All in all, it was a short but enjoyable stay at this hotel and the lady at the front desk provided exceptional customer service!
