It is one of a few good hotels in Guinea. It is not cheep if you think about Guinean as such but comparable to European prices. The hotel offers free airport pick up. I did not have to wait for the pick up, when arrived, which was already a plus. The hotel offers spacious rooms with welcoming drink and hot water in the shower, including shampoo and shower gel. Besides shower, I also had a bath tub. AC is properly working. You can also relax at the pool, water looks clean. The personnel at the reception was helpful and could communicate in English. The breakfast is ok. You can even order an omelet for no additional price. The restaurant is fine, nothing special. A locker on the door in my room was broken. An excursion to the islands close to Conakry can be arranged at the reception but the prices are much higher compared to the port. You can either go alone to the islands for 130 euro or so, if no one else from the hotel wants to join you. Alternatively, you can go to the port and negotiate the price to 70-75 euro, if you wish to visit all 3 islands. I would recommend to stay at Ile Room, two other bigger islands are not so impressive.

Hôtel propre. Bon rapport qualité prix, service correct, personnel très accueillant. À encourager en ces moments difficiles, Conakry est compliqué depuis l'explosion du dépôt de carburant en décembre.

Al estar lleno el Palm Camayenne opté por este hotel. Sobre el papel todo parecía ser un hotel aceptable de 3 estrellas situado en el puerto. Los últimos 900 metros para llegar al hotel son de película: parece sacado de una serie de netflix de las sociedades distópicas….pero la realidad supera la ficción siempre. Vale esto no es culpa del hotel. Ok. Pero lo quería mencionar por si alguien se le ocurre salir a pasear. La habitación 224, en la punta del edificio con mar alrededor: ubicación espectacular. Si. La piscina, le iría bien un buen mantenimiento…así como la terraza del restaurante. En fin, mejorable con un poco de cuidados y mantenimiento, pero claro, esto es harto difícil

Au premier coup d'oeil, la chambre vous paraîtrait superbe. Le bâtiment vient d'être construit (il y a quelques années), c'est un peu normal. Mais au bout de 2 nuits, vous constaterez certainement des petites choses qui ne fonctionnent pas. Et si vous demandez les interventions du personnel pour soulager vos soucis, la réception met des heures à répondre à vos appels répétés. Si avec une grande chance, le réceptionniste décide de prendre votre appel, il reporte au lendemain des choses qu'il pourrait mettre en exécution en 5 minutes. L'hôtel est loin du centre, il n'y a absolument rien dans le quartier (c'est à côté d'un silo céréalier et du port de Conakry). Pour le même prix, il vaut mieux choisir un établissement en centre-ville qui vous propose des services bien meilleurs avec des prix plus raisonables.
