This was a wonderful weekend break. The Swiss attention to detail and good taste was evident and highly appreciated. Our hosts were hospitable, friendly and helpful with great recommendations. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms tastefully finished. Breakfast was delicious and more than sufficient with a selection of cereals (the best muesli) yogurt, variety of breads cold meat and cheese and a top class selection of cooked breakfasts. We will most definitely visit again and would highly recommend this as a weekend escape. Beautiful natural surroundings and a lovely walk along the green belt. Thank you

We had a really lovely stay here, very comfortable and great location in Constantia with excellent access by car to the city, Cape Point and the Winelands. Claudio, Karin, Natalie and Rochelle looked after us fantastically well and we felt very at home. We were sorry to leave and would have ideally stayed a couple of days longer.

Another long stay at Dongola. Thanks to Claudio Karin Natalie and the team . Excellent accommodation and super breakfast. Everything you need for a great holiday nothing is too much trouble.See you next year

We had an excellent 4 nights here. Our hosts made us feel very at home during our stay. Our room was excellent and the facilities, grounds and the breakfast served each day were everything you could possibly need during your stay. Our fellow guests all appeared to be repeat visitors which is no surprise.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dongola. The lodge has a lovely garden with a beautiful view of the mountain and we felt very connected to Nature. Claudio and his team were very hospitable and we felt very much at home.

Wonderful place in safe neighbourhood, beautiful garden with views, new and modern rooms, nice breakfast and lovely hosts - we‘ll be back for sure. Lots of good restaurants close by. Very good golf courses in the area as well. Definitely worth a stay for 4-5 nights.

Absolutely lovely. Nice, clean, top view. Solar panels against load shedding. Very good located in constantia, easy to reach. Nice honesty bar with all the drinks you need . Big garden to walk around, also cool pool area .

Excellent guesthouse with great service, breakfast and wines. Surrounded by vineyards and close to Kirstenbosch. Perfect place to discover Capetown. Car recommended (private parking behind the gate) but also enough Uber taxi’s available.

Located in beautiful Constantia the Dongola House is a true oasis. From the remarkable hospitality of the hosts, the very attentive and professional staff, the exquisitely decorated and spacious rooms to the most delicious breakfasts - everything was just outstanding and we thank the entire Dongola-Team for a wonderful stay!
