Wonderful place set in sone colonial style in the midst of one of the largest teas estates in South India. Great service by Vishnu , Sekhar and Prakash and they helped us through out making sure we were comfortable. The room ( Lemon Grass ) was well appointed and comfortable for three of us .... we were there for hardly 12 hours , just to sleep ...so missed the estate walk and the breakfast next day.....no complaints as they made sure we had some packed breakfast for our onward journey. Our Dinner the previous night was sumptuous as well. They have a well maintained garden area with all kind of exotic plants, flowers that perhaps only grow in such places. If you are in this area, i would highly recommend this place...secluded, away from all the noise and about 15 minutes by auto to the Railway station where you get the opportunity to ride the Toy Train to Ooty or to Mettupalayam. Since we were missing our free breakfast , we asked if we could instead get a discount for the dinner previous night...unfortunately that was declined. I would still rate it 5

We stayed at the lovely Tea nest in Coonoor in September 2024. We traveled to India for 2 weeks from Switzerland. The hotel has a breathtaking view from the veranda where you can sit, a lovely glass teahouse for breakfast and dinner, and Sharon and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend taking the bird and tea walks with Azad — he has so much knowledge about nature, birds and tea and so kindly shared it with us during the complimentary walks and a hike we booked with him. I highly recommend Tea nest!

One of the best resorts I had a break in India. It is in the middle of tea estates. The staff are super friendly, food is very good. Special mention of Mr.Azad who took us on bird watch and plantation walks! We had a great time in the midst of Mother Nature and also had the pleasure of a friendly kitten for company. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a break from our urban lives.

The best and excellent place for nature lovers in Coonoor. Little bit away from the somewhat crowded city, this is the perfect resort in the middle of tea estates. View from here is really far better than from other places in Ooty. Also the service from staffs is excellent. Food was yummy…5 stars to them. Overall highly recommended.

The photos don’t do justice to this property. It amazing, much better than hotels and other expensive homestays. Staff is super polite and Food is amazing. Menu options are quite extensive for such a exclusive location. Really enjoyed the stay with my wife and parents

Superb stay. It was a very pleasant and memorable stay. Staffs were friendly and rooms were neat and clean. Loved every nook and corner of this resort. Food was too good and simple. The complimentary High tea was top notch. The dinner is made to order n tasty
