Hostal Las Olas

This place Is a real blast! Super scenic environment, very cozy rooms with a magnificent view and you also got Alpacas in the garden! The staff is incredibly kind and polite, always available.. a special mention to the German guy who spoke excellent french with me (I wish I remembered your name, sorry!). What an amazing hotel ! On the hill a short walk from the centre offering brilliant views. The room was unbelievable with a really comfortable circular bed, hot water, cooking facilities, both heating and a fully stocked wood fire that was already made 😊. Games are available, Doesn’t have a restaurant but the hostal next door was great value for quality food AND real coffee .

We had an amazing stay at this whimsical hotel, where we received five-star treatment that truly made us feel like staying in the resort the entire 2 days. The attentive design of the hotel is remarkable, and Martin, the owner and his staff were extremely hospitable and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. Oh, the resident alpacas added a unique and delightful touch to the stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed twice once before and again after our trip to Isla del Sol. As you should only take a backpack to Isla del Sol, Las Olas kindly stored our luggage. Martin is the most extraordinary host and owner of this beautiful magical property. Each room is a fairytale but also comfortable with all the essential amenities. You even have your own outdoor seating area. Breakfast is deliver to your room at your desired time and is very generous. Hot and cold items. Each room also has a small kitchen area with kettle and hot plate. There is a fridge in the common room. You are asked to label your items with your room number and the date. As you walk out of the gate, you will pass La Cupola restaurant which is a good alternative for evening meals (suggest reserving). Just past Cupola is a small convenience store which carries drinks (beer and sodas). As you continue off the property, you can turn right, go down hill to a set of stairs and continue down hill again to the main street. There you will find an assortment of shops and restaurants. and eventually the Basilica. We had some issues finding an ATM but were eventually directed to Banco Union at the top corner of Plaza Sucre.

This place doesn’t need my review, but I couldn’t help but say what a great time me and my partner had here! The beautifully sculpted hotel is reason alone to stay there but the owner, Martin’s hospitality is unparalleled. He truly cares about the wellbeing of his guests.

Staying at Las Oblos has been a high light of our four months in South America. All the lodges are unique and special in their own ways. There are mini kitchens in the rooms, so you can go to the market and then cook for yourself - as we did both breakfasts and dinners. Everything is super clean and works , the showers are always hot. The staff and owner are super helpful. Each lodge has a private garden with chairs and hammocks so you can just chill and read a book. Good Wi-Fi.

A lovely, quirky hotel offering guests individual suites of varying sizes. As a couple, we had a spacious suite with lake view, a small kitchen area, massive bed, big bathroom and private outdoor space. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The suite and communal areas were all very clean. We cooked our own dinners for the two nights, and there was a lovely kitchen to use or the one in our own suite. There was fast wifi, hot showers, tea/coffee, laundry service, outdoor hot tub and bottled water provided. Highly recommend staying here!

What an interesting place, its like living in the smurf village. Located very centrally in Copacabana these suites are huge - three floors plenty of room in each. The reception is at the top of the property so a few steps (not easy with altitude) but when you get there you are provided with stunning views of Titicaca. Property has also Llamas and chucks roaming about. Dont think they offer breakfast but facilities to make your own in room and in living room - shared area. Place made my visit to Bolivia very memorable

This place is utterly wonderful. The rooms are simply stunning - unique and quirky whilst being blooming brilliant. The views are stunning and the facilities great. They even have a few llamas roaming around. One of the best and most interesting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The perfect place to explore Copacabana and Isla Sol & Luna. Fun, unusual and full of charm.
