Absalon Hotel

Pokój jest większy niż oczekiwano. Śniadanie jest bardzo dobre. Personel bardzo przyjazny. W hotelu panuje bardzo wesoła atmosfera i jesteśmy zadowoleni z naszego pobytu.

Convenient location. 20 mins metro ride from the airport and the hotel is a short walk away from the station and central train station. Though the pathway has cobbled stones so could be challenging dragging luggages across. I booked a single room and upon getting to my first room, I realized I had to manoeuvre a flight of steps to get to the room, which I immediately u-turned back to the reception to ask for a room change. That's when I was told that all single room types are at the 'sub levels' that have stairs. I wished someone mentioned this in the reviews earlier. It was already a pain dragging a heavy luggage on carpet, this is made worse with the flight of steps in between. The room is small but they have put in smart features to maximize space. I like the open wardrobe concept and how they've incorporated the luggage rack as a folding style from the mirror/wardrobe. Shower area is a bit small, but water pressure of the rain-shower head is good. Bed and pillow are softer than I would prefer. The pillow is so soft it's almost as good as not having one. Breakfast was excellent, a good spread of pastries, bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, eggs and sausages. I love it that the staff are very prompt in refilling whatever is running low and in clearing plates.

The hotel is nice- room modern and it is lovely to have a bath tub. Staff on the desk were extremely kind and helpful, even allowing a late check out. Room was unfortunately on the first floor and there was a lot of noise- moreso from the room next door. Breakfast was a nice added extra but quality of ingredients- powdered egg and canned sausages not good. Location was however very good.

pleasant stay and the location is close to train station, you could access most of the main iconic attrations, breakfast is awesome too!

It was a great location to stay as a tourist, just a 2-minute walk to the metro station and a 3-minute walk to Kopenhavn station. They also offered a tasty and diverse range of food for the complimentary breakfast. The room was very clean and tidy, with warm tones used in the design, making it a cozy stay. The only suggestion for improvement would be the bathroom design, as the shower pane was only built partially from one side of the wall on the tub, causing water to splash out during showers. Other than that, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

I think I might have been upgraded to a economy double room having booked a single so to have a small double bed, a bathtub, opening windows, aircon and inclusive breakfast with wonderful danish pastries amongst other things for the price I paid was an absolute steal. I will be using this hotel again next time.
