The Curious Pig in the Parlour

This place is a crap hole. The hallway stunk of piss the so called deluxe room was a total crap hole. Water damage on the wallpaper hole in wall dirty table broken window (had to prop open with the bin) bathroom was disgusting damp ceiling shower head broken dangerously glass stuck on wall at the side of the mirror towel rail dodgy wires I could go on and on. Perfect pre-flight overnight stay. Our room was well equipped and comfortable; parking was easy; and the evening meal was excellent ( the pan roasted chicken is highly recommended) We found all the people working here to be friendly, efficient, and keen to provide good service. We would definitely return.

The meal we had was good but the hotel was let down by the room, The Parlour. This room is lit only by velux windows which did not have blinds and there was a security light outside which shone directly onto the bed. Quite absurd. Thank goodness we were staying only one night. The breakfasts were in the end good with a wide choice but strangely they do not provide basics such as cereal and they could not provide coffee or tea with the excuse that the coffee machine was broken! We had the ask for milk to take back to our room.

Hotel was clean and quirky which I like! Unique rooms that were a talking point for us. Comfy beds so a great nights sleep. Christine was serving us at breakfast and we was very impressed x good food and good service ! What more could we ask for! !

I stayed for a wedding nearby and for the price this was very, very poor. Everything was old, not clean, plugs in strange places and staff not particularly friendly. Things that could quite easily be fixed or cleaned were not. For example loose toilet seat and dust on the kettle.

Excellent stay, would recommend it for everyone. Staff very attentive and friendly, couldn't ask for more Breakfast was smashing with a good choice and the room was very comfortable with a good size bed and the bathroom had a real powershower with plenty of hot water. The pub had a very unique decor, it was lovely

Comfortable and clean room, a bit noisy as it's on a main road. Very friendly staff. Dinner was excellent, reasonable wine list. I can't fathom how it can take 25 minutes to produce a warm croissant and a bowl of fruit for breakfast but both were very tasty. Planet of free parking.

Stayed here for a night before heading to Gatwick and had a lovely evening. Plenty of parking spaces, which was a good start. A very warm welcome and helpful staff, lots of information given. We put our things in our room then headed to the bar for food and drinks. The meals were delicious, and service was great, so glad we've already booked to stay here before our November holiday.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, upon booking the rooms initially the staff were friendly and helpful, it turns out they have never been to this hotel and its is a national call center, when we turned up we had to follow a virtual booking site gone are the days of turning up to a hotel and paying for the rooms you have reserved, however the signal isn't strong at the location so two failed attempts of paying for these rooms online third time lucky, on check out it is the same thing we asked the manager if simply handing the keys back will do, he said yes so that was enough for me, the initial booking included breakfast only to be told on check out breakfast wasn't included as we left it we will contact the head office to get this resolved otherwise id have been paying for breakfast twice, as we were staying at the hotel a 20% discount on dinner was offered however we did not know this until we were told on the second night.
