Staff st the Charleville were so professional and extremely friendly. Leisure centre was exceptional. We would rate it 10/10. Staff here were so helpful. The cleaning staff were courteous and helpful. We so enjoyed our stay we are returning in 2 weeks

From start to finish it was a pleasure .I attended a social occasion and stayed overnight. From checking in to the staff working at the social and the staff the following morning at breakfast were excellent. Food was beautiful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable had lovely nights sleep. Hopefully will return .

I have stayed here 4 times this year & the staff & service is just amazing. The welcome from the receptionist Amy was just a joy. We got room service at exactly the time requested & the food is so good. I would recommend staying here. Mary Coughlan

Room was cosy but very noisy, windows very gapy and breezes coming through. Asked for quiet room in request when booked the room, but got room facing to back of hotel the roof full of fans. They were on full go. I enquired to reception about fans after visiting room, and she said 10pm they be off. 10.15 pm fans still on in full go, no way you be able to sleep in that noise. So rang to reception again to enquiry about fans, she said, she will turn them off in a minute. But she just turn them lower but still was noisy. So no sleep. 11.38pm finally they OFF. But not for long 5:38am they back ON. Will I stay again or recommend to someone DEFINITELY NOT

Faded elegance wearing a friendly face. The best "Front of House" staff I've encountered in a long time. Lovely Pool area with one of the hottest Jacuzzis I've ever entered. Only ate the Breakfast there and it was "substantial", good but nothing to write home about. A new Manager recently ensconced so expect things to look up, maybe start by dusting the Window ledge in the Rooms (especially 118). Our Cab failed to turn up for our return trip to the Train Station but the Manager came up Trumps and dropped us off himself. Lovely guy and best of luck in the new Post and new Home. Popped in this morning for breakfast on way from Cork airport. The staff were amazing, accommodating us even though breakfast had finished. We weren’t rushed in any way. The breakfast was huge, & delicious, just what we needed after an early flight. They deserve 5* all the way.

We hadn't booked,just off chance called in to see if any room available as the place we had booked was not suitable. The receptionist,Sinqobile,was so nice n helpful. Food was super.bed was comfy.brillant shower n 10 out 10 for staff.all v friendly.will definitely be returning.thank you.

Stayed recently and everything was exceptional especially the lady that checked us in. I believe her name was Kirsty. She was bubbly and extremely welcoming. We felt at home immediately. The food in the bar was also really nice i had the beef blade and would go back just for that!!!

Upon check-out I had advised the receptionist that the stay did not live up to expectations nor did it compare to any other "4-Star" hotel we had stayed in. I was advised that, having checked she had the right contact information, she would email the manager and I could expect a phone call to discuss. Almost a week since checking out there has been no contact, so having received the generic request for feedback in a public forum, I'll gladly share it Having paid for a 2 night stay in a Deluxe Family Suite, I had expected more than what essentially was a larger basically equipped room. There was a very large stain on the carpet in one half of the room, reminded me of a bleach stain. There were no glasses provided to drink the bottled water which was supplied in the room. While there was a kettle to make tea/coffee, the crockery was mismatched i.e. a side plate acting as a saucer. The furniture is shabby, veneer coming away, dents in the wall. There were two smart televisions, neither of which were connected to the internet so the ability to use Netflix, YouTube was negated. There was no safe to secure any items you may not have wanted to carry around with you or take to the leisure centre. The phone in the room was not working so when there was a need to contact reception at 11pm, it became necessary to redress and go downstairs. This occurred on night one and it was made known to reception that the phone was not working, but nothing done to have this addressed as when checked when leaving, it had not been fixed while we were out of the room. The leisure centre is ok. It would be useful if guests of the hotel could be advised in advance that the lockers require a Euro coin. That said, the receptionists kindly lent us coins to use the locker and we returned them on the way out. There is a very small family changing room which we did not avail of as the floor was covered in mud and hence not very hygienic. The larger changing rooms have adequate space and were a lot cleaner. The steam room and sauna are not hot enough to have any benefit to users. In other reviews I saw them being equated to the steam which you get in your home bathroom and this would be a good comparison. We ate in the bar the first evening and while the staff were pleasant and the menu had good options, there is plenty of room for improvement. Plates were not cleared away when main meals were finished, there was no check to see if we wanted to order desert or needed more to drink. We gave up and went to the bar to order and the plates were half cleared after we dropped a strong hint when ordering drinks. Having ate in the town the second night, the bar is not value for money and I would suggest not to eat there unless you really need to. Breakfast was the big positive and the staff in the breakfast room were very attentive.
