Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room and bathroom, tea and coffee available. We enjoyed our stay. What made it most comfortable was the clean bedding and perfect location. The staff were friendly and there was plenty of space to sit and relax.

These rooms are convenient for getting anywhere in central Cork by walking. They’re also clean and comfortable. My only gripe is that I asked for a plain sheet to replace the duvet as it was too hot, but this wasn’t forthcoming. Prices are reasonable given the generally very high accommodation costs in Ireland.

Had to change rooms five times because the sheets had nasty stains on them. Also there isnt any cleaning of the rooms between the days what could explain the stains. The beds are realitive small for 2 adults. A bit too cozy for two adults friends. The hotel doesn't have breakfast or food but is in walking range of a supermarket.

Great location, staff were very friendly. Only drawbacks were no tv in room (minor inconvenience), the rooms got a bit stuffy/warm during the day (only a summer issue) & the bed was a bit springy/thin. Would definitely stay there again if in Cork

Nothing to complain about the location and the cleanliness.However the place is totally charmless, the room is of a good size but only functional. King size bed with a thin mattress… the window can barely be open, not a big deal in Cork where the weather is rarely hot but there’s no air conditioning. Tiny bathroom with a very annoying fan and light starting when you enter and stop whatever you do 15 mn later.No room service. To summarize the value for money is not as good as it seems. For few more euros find a small hotel.

Reasonably priced accommodation in the ideal location to walk into the city centre. Surprised as the size of the rooms, clean and practical. Quiet area. Handy parking at 10 euros daily. Would recommend the Hatch Rooms for anyone visiting Cork City.

The Room, especially the bathroom smelled like sewage, probably caused by what ever that on the door frame is (see picture). The room only had a teeny-tiny window, which led to the room being extremely warm and stuffy, and it definitely did not help with the smell. This might also contribute to mold build up in the future. The duvet and pillows also smelled a bit. This led to us leaving a whole day early. All in all not a nice experience, probably worth the money compared to other accomodations in Cork. Just an idea: since the accomodation is a student accomodation and therefore shared kitchens are available - why not make them accessible to the guests and advertise it as a hostel rather then a hotel

Simple accommodation in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. There is a nice cafe, 'Velo', nearby where you can get breakfast. It feels very much like student halls, but that's fine. Staff were frindly. My mother's room did smell like smoke, which was unfortunate. Parking was necessarily complicated and involved a lot of waiting around to get in and out of the car park. A kettle in the room would have been nice.

Amazing location, just a short walk away from the center, the area was very quiet and it felt safe. Clean, spacious rooms with everything you needed for a short stay in Cork. Parking is available at an extra cost. I would definitely recommend staying here, a great price for basic accommodation.
