Coming from a more affordable accomodation with complete amenities, we found this hotel a bit expensive for the value it gave. The first room we stayed in for one night was spacious and clean, but it's on the first floor near the lobby, so it's noisy especially with the guests eating, going out and about, and the staff talking loudly to each other almost endlessly. Because of the typhoon, the power was in and out, and during brownouts, there were no emergency lights or any portable lights provided inside our room. The noise and the power outage made our stay less desirable and disappointing considering we were paying P1, 500 per night. We later learned that we're staying in the new building, and the older, adjacent one has generator, so we requested that we transfer to another room within that wing. They assisted us, but this next room was a lot smaller. It's still neat, and the sheets and towels were fresh, but it's a lot less space for all our stuff. The rice breakfasts were okay and were included in the nightly rates, but I think the slightly toasted three slices of Pinoy Tasty with two sunny side ups were overpriced. On the positive note, the owner and the staff were very friendly. The staff let us re-heat our deliveries and take outs, allowed us borrow their plates and utensils, and helped us in renting a tricycle to get to the view deck and a van to the airport. Not perfect, but a pleasant stay still.
