This 3-bedroom unit worked well for us as we had 3 couples. We are rural folks and are not particularily picky about accomadations if they are clean, which this one was. This is definitely a fishing area, which we did not do, but found enough to keep us busy the week we were there. Units are old, right on the Lacuna Modre bay and looked out towards the JFK Causeway. Easy access to Corpus Christi and North Padre/Mustand Island. Parking outside the units with spaces set aside for boat trailers. Check-in was all done via phone before we even left home and our door codes were emailed to me. My spouse and I slept on the twin beds which were not good but we got through the week. Kitchen was adequate. The shared bathroom needed it's toilet updated as must have run 7 gallons of water with every flush. Did have a run in with a very large bug in the cupboard a few days...so went to storing bread and anything else they might gain access to in the refrigerator or microwave. Dining room and Living space was nice and worked well for us as was Big 12 Basketball championship week, so did spend our fair share of time watching basketball games using my FireTV stick which worked great as had good enough internet connection in the unit. Visited the King Ranch, USS Lexington Museum, North Padre Beach, Padres Island National Seashore (drove on the sand), rode on the ferry on Hwy 361 across to Port Aransas, walked the mile long jetty that was made to protect the port. Did not have the best weather as was cool, cloudy most all week. Frequented Paul's Seafood Market multiple times for their Happy Hour ($2 bottle beers and 1/2 price oysters were the draw), Snoopys Pier and Doc's Seafood and Steaks were very close under the Causeway. Enjoyed Bar-B-Q at Rudy's. Did not use the pool. Did use the laundry located by the pool using the credit card and it worked good. This was not a resort but a place to stay in a residential area on the water to base out of and see the sites of North Padre and Corpus Christi.
