Dunas Club - Hotel & Apartamentos

Po przybyciu do Apartamentos Dunas Club z Kanady byliśmy zszokowani stanem naszego pokoju. Wybrałem ten hotel na podstawie zdjęć i opinii na stronie *******. Wśród kilku drobnych problemów, które znaleźliśmy w pokoju, główne problemy to: nie mogliśmy dostać się do pokoju, ponieważ zamek nie działał, wnętrze pokoju zostało zniszczone w stopniu, który może wyrządzić krzywdę, wanna była obrzydliwie brudna, łóżka były podarte i zużyte, poduszki też były podarte. Chciałbym móc opublikować zdjęcia, które tam zrobiłem. Po złożeniu skargi w recepcji nam nie pomogli i kazali nam złożyć skargę w *******. W końcu musieliśmy szukać innego hotelu, aby stracić cenny czas z wakacji. Całe to doświadczenie było bardzo nieprzyjemne i frustrujące. Poczułem się jak oszustwo i nie spodziewałem się tego po *****.

Obiekt był bardzo czysty, personel był pomocny, lokalizacja była idealna, jedynym minusem jest to, że nasz pokój wychodził na najbardziej ruchliwą drogę w mieście, więc było bardzo głośno, a śmieciarze opróżniający kosze codziennie o 6 rano byli niepokojący, a poza tym nie ma powietrza klimatyzacja, więc potrzebne były otwarte drzwi, aby wpuścić chłodne powietrze. Mówiąc, że zatrzymam się tu ponownie, po prostu wybierz inny pokój z widokiem na basen.

Resort is a great place with good facilities and located near the marina and Old Town, but be prepared to be treated as second-class citizens when arranged through RCI. Disappoin**ents include: earlier check-out, no basic "welcome pack", cleaning and fresh linen and towel surcharge, utilities surcharge.

We first stayed here approx 25 years ago & decided to try again after our apar**ent booking let us down . We were only away for 4 nights for a birthday treat & were not disappointed. We did ask to move rooms which the management team dealt with promptly & without issues. We found all the team members very friendly. Rooms are clean & well equipped with toaster, kettle, microwave, hob & all cutlery required. We also had a large fan which we didn't use , there is no air con which might be an issue in hotter months. Hotel location is good ,a short walk round the harbour to all bars & restaurants La Luna restaurant adjoining the hotel serves very nice food, we had breakfast here on 2 mornings. We had a lovely short break , thanks to all, & we will return.

Upon arrival at hotel late at night (22:30ish) we were given our room key and pointed in the direction of our room, when we came out of the lift we were greeted by our room (254) right next door to the lift, the room was spacious and clean but the noise from the lift was continuous through the night so we asked if we could move rooms but were told there were no other rooms available to pop back in the morning. After no sleep and being up for more that 36 hours we returned to reception to be told there was no other rooms available for us to move and the room we were given was an 'Upgrade' as we had a restricted pool view. We went back to room but couldn't unpack as we were hoping to get another room or have to move to another hotel as we couldn't stay in the room for a week with no sleep...luckily when the Jet2 rep arrived at 16:30 we managed to move rooms to a quieter room without a view but that didn't bother us. Other than the room mix up the hotel was okay...clean but rooms/towel/bed change are only twice within your 7day stay. Location was the best part of this hotel as it was quiet but close walking to the Marina, Shops, Bars and Restaurants. Rooms don't have Air Con but you are provided with a fan in the room. We arrived late at night so no access to shops etc so had no water to take meds before bed.

We arrived at Dunas Club, Corrallejo, on 23/03/2024 We had booked with Jet2, a package deal, a one bedroom apar**ent, with pool view I had emailed previously, to ask for a sunny balcony apar**ent, had an acknowledgment from Dunas Club, saying they couldn’t guarantee it but would do their best On arrival we were told we had been given an “upgrade to a sea view, I wasn’t sure about this, but agreed to it When we got to the “upgraded room” to find it was a studio To me that is a “downgrade” We went back to reception to ask for the one bedroom apar**ent we had booked and paid for The receptionist could not believe we didn’t want the sea view, it was difficult to them to understand that a studio, instead of a one bedroom apar**ent is not an upgrade I was extremely stressed about it This holiday had been booked for our 48th Wedding Anniversary, I put that in the original email asking for a sunny balcony We were told we would have to stay in it that night, as no one bedroom apar**ent ms we’re available for that night Now, had I not been so tired (late arrival from airport) and stressed out, I might have stopped to ask why we couldn’t get the one bedroom apar**ent we had originally booked and paid for The next morning, when going for breakfast, I asked at reception (different receptionist) when we would be able to move to our original apar**ent booking We were told to give them 5 minutes and they would see when, but said the apar**ent was being cleaned now We said we would go for breakfast and come back to find out the progress of the apar**ent When we got back to the reception the room was ready We were so relieved It did put a downer on our first night, we didn’t get an apology, but we were happy with the new apar**ent and did not make a complaint to Jet2 Not really sure it was Jet2’s fault Dunas Club is in a great location, very clean and staff are very helpful (apart from the person that dealt with us on arrival) The only issue we had was other residents banging doors when they entered or left apar**ents and the echo in the corridor, you can hear everyone talking as they walk along the corridor at night and the wee small hours We were on the second floor, so maybe the echo is worse there

Check - in was quick and straightforward and we got directions to our room. With luggage we used the lift and walked from one end of the block to the other. We had a room with a small balcony that looked out onto the street and was a glorious sun trap in the afternoons. The studio apar**ent was a good size and well laid out. The fridge was good and we had a toaster and kettle and the necessary cutlery and crockery. The beds were comfortable and there were spare pillows in the wardrobe if needed. We sunbathed most mornings on the upper deck and were able to get sunbeds but they filled up fast and unfortunately despite signs asking people not to do it, people reserved beds early on to make sure they got their spot and didn’t use them for hours. For the number of apar**ents and potential guests there are nowhere near enough sunbeds. I would hate to visit during the summer months if the place was full. I looked into the gym and it was well equipped and laid out. The apar**ents are near the sea and harbour and the location provides a great walk in all directions. The harbour has ferries where you can do day trips to Lanzarote and you can also pick up the bus to Puerto del Rosario which is worth a visit. I would stay here again if returning to Corralejo.

Overwhelmed how good our family room was…. Very spacious with two rooms two tv’s and two bathrooms so perfect for my family of Four two teenaged boys. Location is perfect turn right five minute Walk to restaurants turn left for miles of walking along the seafront. We recommend the hotel restaurant (la Luna)for breakfast if you like a full English. Spoilt for choice for restaurants in the area all within walking distance but do your research the first night we just went to one without checking it on trip advisor and it was very bog standard and service was miserable otherwise we’ve had great meals. If I was to visit Corralejo again I would certainly stay here. Also mention the gym here is very good for those odd dull days 😊 I would imagine the summer being a bit more difficult to get sunbeds as it’s march now and they go quick!

Fabulous apar**ent complex right at the very picturesque harbour. Rooms very modern and clean Small outdoor pool with good quality sunbeds. Restaurant on site and dozens of good restaurants literally on your doorstep. Music square 5 minutes walk away
