Sunwing Fanabe Beach

Just come back from a week in the Sunwing Fañabe beach. On arrival the hotel reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and check in was very quick We were on the 5th floor never a problem getting a lift as there are several located around the hotel. The too. Was extremely clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Food and drink in fridge as well arrived late and even though balcony faced the road noise was a minimum. Well equipped kitchenette even though we were all inclusive. My son and his family upgraded to a family suite which was huge facing the pool. Rooms were cleaned daily apart from Sunday and always left spotless. The whole of the hotel was extremely clean. The pool area was lovely and always loungers available as no reservations were allowed before 0930. Loads for the children to do if they wanted to join in. Food was plentiful with good choices my only criticism is it was often on the cold side. Great drink selection on the all inclusive including cocktails. Night entertainment want the best and the show bar was generally abit quite. Didn’t mind because we preferred to be out and about the resort. Would recommend the hotel and would return it was a fantastic holiday.

This hotel is brilliant for families the staff are all brilliant with the children and friendly,restaurant and bar staff work hard and the entertainment are brilliant At getting children involved and taking the mascots Bernie and Lollo around making sure all the kids get a high five and a hug. The entertainment at night was ok,again the 4 people that did the shows at night were brilliant at getting everyone involved and having a chat with the kids after. All the staff are a real credit to this hotel. Food could do with being a bit hotter and a bit more of meat variety. Breakfast was the best meal of the day…we were all inclusive but if we came back we would do bed and breakfast as food isn’t the best and hotel is in a good location to go out for food. When we first arrived we was given room 425 and my opinion is that this room needs locking off it’s like a dark prison cell with the bar across the road playing music till 3am. We spoke to reception and got moved the next morning and couldn’t believe how much better the room was and more like what we was expecting. The rooms are so spacious with everything you need. Air con isn’t great if you are like me and get hot bring a travel fan,I’m glad I did. Pool area is lovely and kept clean but does get busy at times. Male lifeguard is friendly and gets pool noodles ready to give the kids if they need them….Again a real asset to the hotel and I hope the staff get the appreciation that they deserve from management as they keep this hotel clean and running like clockwork and always with a friendly smile

We visited as a couple in May 2024. The reception area was spacious and bright and we were greeted warmly by the staff. The hotel layout takes some getting used to, especially if located near the back. We had to walk along three corridors and go up in a lift to get to our room. Navigation skills definitely required! We were on level 4, but given the hotel is on a hill, the room was at ground level. On arrival at our room, first impression was - this is huge! A spacious living room area and an equally spacious bedroom. There were 2 sets of wardrobes available to us, with lots of hangers (unusual in Tenerife!). The kitchen area was well appointed with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and coffee machine. The bathroom was equally large with a powerful walk in shower. Small details like a good supply of toilet tissue added to the good feeling. Overall the room was spotless. We were all inclusive but really only had breakfast and lunch, preferring to wander into the resort to eat at night. There was plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The food was good quality if a little on the lukewarm side. Understandable with self service. The entire hotel was very clean and staff worked tirelessly to keep it that way. Daytime pool entertainment was well done by the team, especially when interacting with the children. Overall we found all staff to be very pleasant and willing to help. We would give 5 stars but for the fact we did find a couple of cockroaches in our room, the navigation in hotel and the lukewarm food. But definitely 4 stars plus from us.

Excellent hotel with modern rooms, Clean and spacious with small kitchen , Plenty of sunbeds with two extra sundecks, More of a family hotel with good facilities for children., Including kids club and teenager section.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff at all times were helpful and friendly

Our second time staying there, the hotel is an amazing family hotel! There are plenty of activities going on throughout the day to keep you and the little ones occupied. Staff are amazing and friendly and always engaged us with the adults and especially the kids, Nadia in the shop was so lovely to deal with and gave us loads of information about the islands! We found ourselves staying in the hotel for dinner a few nights to eat in the restaurant “Rosa’s Kitchen”. The food was excellent and the service exemplary, especially from Juan and Paco who really went out of their way for us. The night time entertainment is really good, the kids disco and then the show after is a nice wind down to the day, after the show the singers come out and talk to the guests and its really lovely to see how much time they spend talking to the kids, they even get them involved if the kids would like to go on stage at a couple of different shows. Thanks Max, Alma and Anna for getting out little one up on stage and for all the shows during the week! I would highly recommend the hotel if you are have young kids, its a great family holiday location, with plenty to see and do in the area.

Amazing location, not too far from a very busy area of bars and restaurants. We stayed in a suite which was very clean and spacious. My only criticism is the location of our accommodation, it was room 425 and was a long way from reception and quite hard to navigate how to get there. It had a huge balcony but unfortunately it was on a main st with music playing til 2am and the strongest smell of **** I’ve ever come across. I bought ear plugs and was oblivious after that. I was a little disappointed with the bar area , it never really had anyone sat there of an evening and no entertainment . I thought breakfast was quite poor , food was not hot and the choice of fruit was quite limited. Staff were amazing and the lovely lady on reception was super helpful. I would definitely stay here again but I would ask for a different room closer to reception and pool view.

Hi, just a quick review of our stay at the Sun wing Hotel, on arrival the check-in was easy and quick and our room on the 5th floor was a studio with a pool view and it was very clean and spacious. It had a hob, coffee machine, and cooking utensils although we were b/b and in general very nice, the bed was two singles pulled together but was very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fair and all in all very good although mostly luke warm. I would say the hotel is more for families as it has a lot of things for children to do, but we as a couple spent a lot of our time on the sundeck which was very quiet and peaceful and had a very enjoyable stay. The staff are all very nice and helpful and good at they're jobs, a credit to the hotel. One little note, I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the bar prices are a bit steep, I went down from the sundeck for a bottle of water from the little shop next to the pool and decided to have a beer just to check it out, I got a beer in a paper cup (I understand it was at the pool bar) but the beer which was just a little over a half pint, I was charged 4.90 for it, I nearly fell off my stool, now you can go outside and get a beer from anywhere between 1.50 to 3.00 euro for a pint so 4.90 is a bit steep for less than a pint, so never used it again, so can't tell you anything about entertainment as we went out every night. Maybe the hotel should have a look at this because you are definitely losing a lot of customers that could be in the hotel instead of outside the hotel. Other than that, we had a lovely stay here.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Excellent staff, super kid oriented! Everyone made an effort to speak to the kids/ play with them. Could not find one fault during our ten day stay. Food is out of this world. Can’t understand the poor reviews! Set theme each night, tapas, Canarian, aisian etc. I was expecting to eat out a lot at night (I want to eat beautiful food on holiday and know how bad the food can be in some all inclusive hotels) and had booked all inclusive mainly for the breakfast, drinks and snacks. However, we actually made the effort to eat at the hotel every night, bar one, the food was THAT good! Lovely choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of different options. High quality food. constantly topped up.. Always kid friendly options to fall back on - pasta/ pizza/ fries/ nuggets. Snack bar was good. Chips, burger, toastie etc. The food absolutely made it for us. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We booked the royal suite package. Was lovely to arrive to wine, cheese, olives, crackers, fizzy drinks, fruit juice, beer, chocolate, crisps and a huge bowl of fruit. Coffee and water daily was a nice touch too. The room was perfectly set up for my family, including a travel cot that I hadn’t booked but was extremely grateful for. We arrived after dinner had finished and the hotel had put a little snack in our fridge - nothing fancy just a cheese and ham sandwich and some fruit but again, much appreciated late at night after a loooong day travelling. Kids clubs are brilliant and the staff are amazing with the children. My daughter did a staff supervised movie and pizza night at the kids club. 13 euros and she had a fab time. Because she’s in the older group she was allowed to come and go from the club as she pleased during the other included activities. However the hotel checked her in and out of the movie night and sent me a notification by email when she left. My 2 year old LOVED lolo and Bernie and really made use of the little kids club (supervised by myself/ husband). Pools are brilliant and always manned by a lifeguard. Hotel is non smoking but we didn’t find that too much of an inconvenience and it was nice not to have clouds of smoke around! Smoking is allowed in front of the hotel and there are some chairs to sit on. We wouldn’t usually book all inclusive as I am very particular about food quality and variety, but we went for it for the kid’s benefit and were very pleasantly surprised. Location is brilliant. Short taxi ride gets you to most places - Siam park, monkey world, Siam mall, Adeje Old Town etc. coach expeditions in abundance to book along the promenade. Beautiful beaches all within an easy walk. Lots of bars and restaurants as well as shops etc. Everyone we met was friendly and went the extra mile to help. Even down to the taxi driver who spoke little English but put English kids songs on in in the taxi to keep my littlest one entertained. Superb Hotel and fantastic country! Lovely hotel and very friendly, helpful staff. I stayed in a Royal Suite which was very large and immaculately clean. I stayed on a B&B basis so can only comment on the breakfast which was lovely and plentiful. The hotel has the best gym of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. The location is fabulous, just a stones throw from Fanabe beach, restaurants and shops. I arrived on 14th April and the hotel was very busy so you needed to be up early to get a sunbed, From the 21st April the hotel was much quieter as the Scandavians go home for the summer. It depends whether you like it busy or quiet. On day seven of my holiday I found myself in a dire situation (no fault of the hotel or Jet2). The hotel staff and Jet2 rep (Emma) leapt into action and could not have been more helpful or supportive. They looked after me superbly! I cannot thank them enough! I would highly recommend this hotel as I could not find any fault with it.
