Sunwing Fanabe Beach

Our second time staying there, the hotel is an amazing family hotel! There are plenty of activities going on throughout the day to keep you and the little ones occupied. Staff are amazing and friendly and always engaged us with the adults and especially the kids, Nadia in the shop was so lovely to deal with and gave us loads of information about the islands! We found ourselves staying in the hotel for dinner a few nights to eat in the restaurant “Rosa’s Kitchen”. The food was excellent and the service exemplary, especially from Juan and Paco who really went out of their way for us. The night time entertainment is really good, the kids disco and then the show after is a nice wind down to the day, after the show the singers come out and talk to the guests and its really lovely to see how much time they spend talking to the kids, they even get them involved if the kids would like to go on stage at a couple of different shows. Thanks Max, Alma and Anna for getting out little one up on stage and for all the shows during the week! I would highly recommend the hotel if you are have young kids, its a great family holiday location, with plenty to see and do in the area.

Amazing location, not too far from a very busy area of bars and restaurants. We stayed in a suite which was very clean and spacious. My only criticism is the location of our accommodation, it was room 425 and was a long way from reception and quite hard to navigate how to get there. It had a huge balcony but unfortunately it was on a main st with music playing til 2am and the strongest smell of **** I’ve ever come across. I bought ear plugs and was oblivious after that. I was a little disappointed with the bar area , it never really had anyone sat there of an evening and no entertainment . I thought breakfast was quite poor , food was not hot and the choice of fruit was quite limited. Staff were amazing and the lovely lady on reception was super helpful. I would definitely stay here again but I would ask for a different room closer to reception and pool view.

Hi, just a quick review of our stay at the Sun wing Hotel, on arrival the check-in was easy and quick and our room on the 5th floor was a studio with a pool view and it was very clean and spacious. It had a hob, coffee machine, and cooking utensils although we were b/b and in general very nice, the bed was two singles pulled together but was very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fair and all in all very good although mostly luke warm. I would say the hotel is more for families as it has a lot of things for children to do, but we as a couple spent a lot of our time on the sundeck which was very quiet and peaceful and had a very enjoyable stay. The staff are all very nice and helpful and good at they're jobs, a credit to the hotel. One little note, I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the bar prices are a bit steep, I went down from the sundeck for a bottle of water from the little shop next to the pool and decided to have a beer just to check it out, I got a beer in a paper cup (I understand it was at the pool bar) but the beer which was just a little over a half pint, I was charged 4.90 for it, I nearly fell off my stool, now you can go outside and get a beer from anywhere between 1.50 to 3.00 euro for a pint so 4.90 is a bit steep for less than a pint, so never used it again, so can't tell you anything about entertainment as we went out every night. Maybe the hotel should have a look at this because you are definitely losing a lot of customers that could be in the hotel instead of outside the hotel. Other than that, we had a lovely stay here.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Excellent staff, super kid oriented! Everyone made an effort to speak to the kids/ play with them. Could not find one fault during our ten day stay. Food is out of this world. Can’t understand the poor reviews! Set theme each night, tapas, Canarian, aisian etc. I was expecting to eat out a lot at night (I want to eat beautiful food on holiday and know how bad the food can be in some all inclusive hotels) and had booked all inclusive mainly for the breakfast, drinks and snacks. However, we actually made the effort to eat at the hotel every night, bar one, the food was THAT good! Lovely choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of different options. High quality food. constantly topped up.. Always kid friendly options to fall back on - pasta/ pizza/ fries/ nuggets. Snack bar was good. Chips, burger, toastie etc. The food absolutely made it for us. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We booked the royal suite package. Was lovely to arrive to wine, cheese, olives, crackers, fizzy drinks, fruit juice, beer, chocolate, crisps and a huge bowl of fruit. Coffee and water daily was a nice touch too. The room was perfectly set up for my family, including a travel cot that I hadn’t booked but was extremely grateful for. We arrived after dinner had finished and the hotel had put a little snack in our fridge - nothing fancy just a cheese and ham sandwich and some fruit but again, much appreciated late at night after a loooong day travelling. Kids clubs are brilliant and the staff are amazing with the children. My daughter did a staff supervised movie and pizza night at the kids club. 13 euros and she had a fab time. Because she’s in the older group she was allowed to come and go from the club as she pleased during the other included activities. However the hotel checked her in and out of the movie night and sent me a notification by email when she left. My 2 year old LOVED lolo and Bernie and really made use of the little kids club (supervised by myself/ husband). Pools are brilliant and always manned by a lifeguard. Hotel is non smoking but we didn’t find that too much of an inconvenience and it was nice not to have clouds of smoke around! Smoking is allowed in front of the hotel and there are some chairs to sit on. We wouldn’t usually book all inclusive as I am very particular about food quality and variety, but we went for it for the kid’s benefit and were very pleasantly surprised. Location is brilliant. Short taxi ride gets you to most places - Siam park, monkey world, Siam mall, Adeje Old Town etc. coach expeditions in abundance to book along the promenade. Beautiful beaches all within an easy walk. Lots of bars and restaurants as well as shops etc. Everyone we met was friendly and went the extra mile to help. Lovely hotel and very friendly, helpful staff. I stayed in a Royal Suite which was very large and immaculately clean. I stayed on a B&B basis so can only comment on the breakfast which was lovely and plentiful. The hotel has the best gym of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. The location is fabulous, just a stones throw from Fanabe beach, restaurants and shops. I arrived on 14th April and the hotel was very busy so you needed to be up early to get a sunbed, From the 21st April the hotel was much quieter as the Scandavians go home for the summer. It depends whether you like it busy or quiet. On day seven of my holiday I found myself in a dire situation (no fault of the hotel or Jet2). The hotel staff and Jet2 rep (Emma) leapt into action and could not have been more helpful or supportive. They looked after me superbly! I cannot thank them enough! I would highly recommend this hotel as I could not find any fault with it.

Fabulous location near Fanabe beach in the middle of everything went with my older son and daughter and had a great time at Sunwing. The rooms were nice and spacious and clean overlooking the pool the rooms must be sound proof as you can’t hear any noise the beds were lovely and comfy and the air con worked well. There was always sun beds available and the breakfast was varied and enjoyable. The staff were always friendly and helpful would definitely stay again

Decided to have a short break at Sunwing Fanabe as my daughter and her fiancé were staying at the Guayamarina Princess over the road. Chose this hotel as we stayed here in May 2023 and really enjoyed it. It’s a family hotel so obviously lots of kids about. All families were nice and most kids well behaved and enjoying themselves in and around pool areas and activity clubs. You can always get sunbeds and parasols at any time of day and pool towels are provided in the rooms. We were B and B and plenty of choice at breakfast time and English bacon! One of the best things about the hotel is the rooms. They are spacious and even the standard rooms have a separate living area from the bedroom by way of a sliding partition. Bathrooms are good and fridge and microwave and hob are provided in the room. The best thing of all though is the bed. You will struggle to find any hotel with beds as comfortable as this. What a superb nights sleep. Staff are great and hotel is in an excellent almost sea front location. We would definitely stay here again.

Currently staying here will write a bigger review when home lovely friendly hotel great rooms staying self catering the only thing I think let’s it down is the shows of a night are poorly attended the show people are great. But I think it’s because it’s not advertised enough in the hotel poorly attended and the people work really hard For a great show most things are advertised on your mobile but if like my husband the phone goes in the safe when we arrive you don’t know what’s happening in the hotel another point is the drinks are ex pensive compared to out side the hotel ok I know it’s a captive audience but !!!!!

Rooms are modern and cleaned daily We got bed and breakfast- breakfast was lovely A la carte menu was nice and reasonably priced Drinks are expensive, almost €10 for a small cocktail The most disappointing part for me was the kids club aka lollo and Bernie play area It was opened at random times throughout the day for an hour or two at a time and other days not opened at all which was very much a let down when you have two toddlers to entertain The evening entertainment was good but the place was empty, their was no atmosphere at night time which made us go to other pubs for that holiday atmosphere (maybe because the alcohol is so expensive?) A lot of the kids entertainment was not in English also which I understand why however it was difficult for the kids to get involved I probably wouldn't go back due to the spontaneous timings of the play area and also the staff who worked there were not hands on with the kids, the sat back and looks disinterested and let the parents interact with the games etc instead of them getting involved which didn't look good!
