INNSiDE by Meliá Fuerteventura - Adults only

A very relaxing ‘Adult Only’ hotel on the south of the island. It you are looking to get some R&R in a quiet and rare white beach location, then this is a great choice. The hotel is positioned in a hillside and looks over a very long white beach with a lagoon in front. The lagoon fills and empties depending on the moon (we never saw the lagoon filled in our week. I think it fills and empties on a 2 week cycle). The hotel is well maintained and everything was clean (communal areas thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis) and all staff friendly and helpful. We opted for a ‘studio’ which comes with a slightly bigger room than the standard ones plus a stand alone bath and a more extensively stocked mini fridge which was refreshed every day. I’m sure a standard room would have been fine as they all look over to the beach. The hotel has a lovely pool which wasn’t too busy and there was no ‘reserving sunbeds’ policy which was nice. The pool is a good length for those who like to clock up some lengths. The pool staff were very attentive and alway on hand to help with moving sun shades around when needed. Beach/pool towels are included and could be changed with the pool staff. The spacious restaurant is self service with a lovely grill on the go at both breakfast & dinner. The food choices are extensive and we found most options to be of excellent quality except the puddings which looked nice but never tasted quite so good but the fresh fruits choice was good so we opted for that after a few days! We were allocated a breakfast and dinner time but because the hotel wasn’t full, it didn’t seem to matter when you arrived for breakfast or dinner. We enjoyed the Pilates & Yoga classes which are included in the price of the room. The classes can be booked at reception and run on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8am The classes were lead by Annika and David from Inspira Fitness who are excellent instructors and able to cater for mixed ability classes. There is also a gym to use which was empty every time we visited. There is little else around in the immediate vicinity (which adds to the charm of this hotel). The closest town is Costa Calma where there are a few shops, including a Spar to buy extra provisions but to be honest, that is the only reason to visit. It is a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel on a small back road. If you want to explore further, it is probably worth hiring a car which is what we did. The only disappointment was the lack or wind for water sports at this time of the year (November). Apparently, the best time to visit for water sport is March - August so if visiting outside of these months then it is a risk to book and pay for classes in advance. There were several other hotel guests who were also hoping to do water sports so the lack of wind at this time of the year is not widely advertised. A wonderful week at INNside by Meliã and windsurfing at René Egli . Pedro Soberbio and Nicolas with their team took full care of us. The cooks prepared each time delicious meals that made us all happy. A super location highly recommendable! We couldn’t have wished for more.

This was my third visit to this hotel, which I had previously considered an excellent choice. I even recommended it enthusiastically to family and friends. However, this time, I am deeply disappointed by the dramatic decline in service quality and the complete disregard for customer requests. Prior to my arrival, I made a request – both well in advance and closer to the check-in date – that we required a room on the upper floor. My husband and I are light sleepers, and he also suffers from insomnia, making this request particularly important for our comfort. The hotel assured us they would do their best, stating, "Leave it with us, we'll take care of it within the limits of availability." Sadly, these turned out to be nothing but empty words. Not only was our request entirely ignored, but we were also assigned the worst room possible: directly adjacent to loud construction work from the hotel next door. Drilling noises were constant throughout the day, making it impossible to relax. The terrace was utterly unusable due to the noise. ( waste of money) and we were forced to play music inside the room just to drown out the racket. Adding insult to injury, the advertised “sea view” was extremely partial and not as described. The most frustrating part? Other guests who arrived on the same day were assigned top-floor rooms with far better views and much less noise. This makes it abundantly clear that our request was simply disregarded. When we raised our concerns at reception, the staff were dismissive and even hostile, making us feel unwelcome and ignored. This lack of care completely ruined our stay and tarnished the reputation of a hotel I once trusted. It's obvious that customer satisfaction is not a priority here – all they care about is taking your money, regardless of the quality of the experience. I will never return to this property, and I certainly won’t recommend it to anyone. The service has drastically deteriorated, and the management seems indifferent to addressing or valuing guest concerns. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere .

Everything we could possibly want and more for a relaxing break. Location , food and service are first class . Boutique sized hotel with food cooked in smaller batches and well presented , I’m a firm believer that you eat with your eyes . Hotel is styled / furnished in a contemporary way and the rooms have a balcony with double sun bed to enjoy a moment or two with a chilled drink looking out over the stunning Sotavento Beach as it stretches on for miles. Take a walk along the beach and the views will not disappoint . Not a bad place to be when it’s snowing and minus 2 degrees back home . Thank you Innside - Fuerteventura

Stayed several times and if you want to be surrounded by nature then this is the place to go The hotel is laid back - service and staff first class. Rooms with a sea view well worth the extra cost and half board is essential as it is quite cut off . However the food -drinks and entertainment mean you don't need to go elsewhere

Really nice hotel, room was very comfortable and with a nice terrace with comfortable beachbed to enjoy the view of the ocean. Perfect location for relaxing and resting if you are looking for a more quiet stay, beautiful beach and infinity pool. Food was really good and friendly staff, the yogaclasses and live music are a bonus, very delicious cocktails made by Bryan! i especially liked the Ginger Bar with its cozy seating areas and amazing view of the beach and ocean.
