Kiedy się wymeldowałem, zaoferowano mi fakturę e-mailem. Wciąż na to czekam. Gdzie indziej to kwestia minuty.
Po opłaceniu parkingu podziemnego w recepcji otrzymałem bilet wyjazdowy z poprzedniego dnia i na moje pytanie, czy to prawda, otrzymałem odpowiedź twierdzącą. Oczywiście nie mogłem tak wyjść, musiałem ponownie zaparkować i zdobyć aktualny bilet. Jaki jest sens? Sprzedaje się bilety wyjazdowe czy co?

Very comfortable room in a charming hotel. B&B only - breakfasts were very good. Hotel would supply plates, knives & forks etc if you ordered a takeout meal and the restaurants would deliver to your room. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Cottbus is a charming little town with plenty of bars and restaurants. Nice walks along the river.

We were visiting the area to explore my husband’s Wendish heritage and experience the surrounding area including the Spreewald. The Sorat Hotel was great for both purposes. It’s located in a beautifully restored 1850s building in the old town. Close to the Wendish/Sorbiche museum and the stunning market square. Our room was large and convenient. Breakfasts were a highlight with plenty of choices and a good coffee machine. The staff were helpful and understanding of our lack of German language skills. We were able to park onsite and charge our electric hire car there. On the Sunday we hired hotel bikes to take them by train to Lubbenau and ride back to Cottbus via the Spreewald and villages. They were older bikes but seemed well maintained and were good for this purpose. Overall the Sorat helped make our visit to Cottbus a highlight of our German travels. A home away from home in a delightful region and town.

Good location, town has good transport. Hotel clean apart from the last guests leftovers in the fridge. No tea making facilities? A major omission.

The hotel says it’s a 4 star, but it is more like a descent 3 star. Our room needs a refresh/ renovation.
