On our first night visiting Annagry, the hotel was recommended, so we decided to visit for an evening meal. Unfortunately, it was extremely busy, the staff seemed very run off their feet, there was obviously some function on and some staggering drunk people at the entrance. As it was, there were no tables available and we left feeling unsure of the place. However, after assurances from other people we came across, we decided to have another go on our last full day of our break. Our experience couldn't have been more different! Staff couldn't do enough for us. Our starters were all delicious! For main, two of our group had Szechuan chicken balls and chicken curry and absolutely loved them! My husband had ordered the scallops and black pudding, but though he agreed it looked good, the black pudding was over cooked and he wasn't keen on the scallops. I had the garlic chicken, but there was too much of everything and I had to leave a lot behind which I hate doing. Finally, the boys had baked Alaska and crumble both of which were received with great delight! We are so glad we returned - my husband and I would just like to sample a different main next time!
