wonderful happy staff. terrific breakfast so much variety and lots to eat. rooms very comfy this hotel is less than a year old ..definitely the best in comox/courtenay

Such a wonderful hotel. Less than 12 months old. Truly happy efficient staff. Breakfast was exceptional .. fruit, pancakes, eggs, omlettes, sausage or bacon plus cereals toast yogurt and of course coffee

Brand New hotel! Friendly staff, seamless check-in, good breakfast with many hot and cold options. There could be more coffee dispensers in the breakfast area. The one available was emptied quickly. Room clean and comfortable. We will stay again!

Clean and quiet, area nearby is less great. I was awoken by an alarm that a previous guest had set for 2:48 AM. I assume this was a prank as I doubt anyone actually needed to wake this early. The way the alarm clock was wired in you couldn’t even unplug it. No instructions were available for checking if alarm was set. Cleaning staff should check for alarms that were set.

Front desk staff were friendly. We had room on the fourth floor at the end of the hall. If you are a light sleeper, request another room as it is beside the stairwell and you can hear people from the bed. Bed was too soft for my liking. Room was very spacious with a good layout. Breakfast offerings were not very appealing. Yogurt and orange juice were the best of what was available.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we'll stay again. The property is brand new and spotless. The staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had many hot options as well as fresh fruit, healthy cereals, fresh dairy, and plenty of beverages. Parking is well-lit and safe. Convenient location close to airport and city. (also a small gym and swimming pool on-site. We haven't used those but nice to have the option).

We love staying at Holiday Inns so we were so happy that there is one in Courtenay. It is close to Costco and Match restaurant. We will be back!

I liked the staff. Very friendly and helpful. It was extemely clean and offered a good breakfast. I would stay there again and would recommend this place.
