We stayed at this hotel when we were getting married, although we did not actually get married at the hotel itself we were still made to feel very welcome by all of the staff who were extremely pleasant & polite throughout our stay which made it even more memorable.

My son married his beautiful bride on 28/10/24. It was a lovely intimate service and celebration. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast and was cooked fresh and to order. There was something for everyone. The rooms were warm and cosy, the beds were nice and comfy. A bit confusing with the lifts but we didn’t get lost 😂. The staff were lovely and friendly and always at hand. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you

Stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. The who event was out of this world and all staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. A fantastic hotel.

Although somewhat tricky to find ,this gem of a country hotel can be highly recommended. The atmosphere, lovely surroundings, the serviceminded staff and lovelly food made it well worth a journey (although i do not play golf).

We have just had a very successful college reunion with 38 75+ year olds staying at the hotel. The service we received was exceptional, from the start of planning a year ago until the event itself.

I have to say, with all honesty, that I have never met such friendly, accommodating staff. I spend a lot of time in hotels due to work. I'm qualified!

What a fabulous place to stay!! Beautiful grounds for walking, and the accommodation was first class. We took our 2 dogs and they couldn’t have been more welcomed. Will definitely be returning.

We visited for family wedding. Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked and very tasty, although I would have liked fried egg but there was nothing to say I could order any nor were we offered it (very small gripe) Our room was twin room very well kitted out with hairdryer,iron,ironing board & plenty of fresh clean towels etc with a little stuffed doggy waiting for you on your bed. Bottled water (glass not plastic bottles) tea/coffee & drinking choc with sugar & sweetner(rareity in hotels) Our family members had different room and they said it was quite dated & needed modernising with small to so can only assume hotel is in process of u[grading their rooms. I would not hesitate in returning to this hotel or indeed recommending it to anyone. Romantic night away with your partner this is the place to go - you will not be disappointed.
