This inn is hardly “luxury”. The outside of the building has charm and our room, the Eliza, was nicely decorated, if a bit spartan. That is where the good news ends. We were texted contactless check-in instructions by David. Contactless check-in may be convenient, but I think in this instance it means “lazy”. We did not see or hear an employee during our visit. We were told to text the number with any issues, which we did when we realized that the dirty towels from the previous guest were still on the floor of our bathroom and we had no clean towels. By check out the next morning, no one had responded to our text message requesting clean towels. Additionally, the guests above us appeared to be moving furniture at 4 am, but given that there was no response to our earlier text about towels, we didn’t bother escalating the issue. While I prefer to support local businesses, I cannot recommend the inn to other travelers based on our lackluster experience.
