FengYou hotel has been the best experience we’ve ever had at a hotel. It’s a small hotel in a beautiful villa in the mountain, with tan incredible lake view and located very near the Dali train station. The staff at the hotel have all been extremely kind, helpful and provided us with all sorts of attentions and details. A true 5 star experience during our entire stay. The facilities of the hotel are awesome, and our room is simply incredible: spacious, modern, beautiful and simply spectacular: the terrace and massive windows with the best possible view, along with the biggest and astonishing bath tub made our stay perfect. All the details included in the stay (afternoon tea with cake, all drinks, the evening mushroom soup…) were just the perfect touch for a great experience. As we mentioned to the staff, we will 100% repeat our stay if we’re back in Dali and definitely recommend the stay to anyone looking for a luxurious stay to enjoy the quality of the hotel. 1000/10

I highly recommend this Hilton! The hotel itself is very new, with a simple yet elegant design, and all the facilities are well-maintained. The location is absolutely fantastic; it's just a 10-minute walk to Xingsheng Bridge and Erhai Park, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about dining or shopping. The room's cleanliness is impeccable – the bathroom, corners, and crevices were all spotless, there were no strange odors, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed rest. The service is definitely a bonus point; the staff were patient and attentive throughout, check-in was efficient, they proactively offered touring advice, and actively helped resolve any issues, even thoughtfully preparing welcome fruits. From the hardware and cleanliness to the service, everything was flawless. The value for money is outstanding. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Dali!

If I could, I’ll give a score of 100/10! This is such a fantastic experience staying here. What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too! Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!! And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time. The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp. Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent? Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit? And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍

The Pullman at Dali wa beautiful, modern and clean. Breakfast was good especially the Egg Benedict by the Chef. The restaurants recommended by hotel were great too. Everything was perfect except one key reminder for all travellers: we went there in December, but heating/airconditioning temperature was centralised and could not be adjusted despite the existence of adjustment buttons. As a result of that and the fact that our room was sun-facing, the room was very hot (28 degrees) and stuffy. What deserved a round of applause was the attitude of Eleven, the Manager of the Hotel. She changed us to a lake facing room and ensured that the airconditioner was off and the windows were opened the whole time. We appreciate her patience and professionalism - thank you. Tip: if you dont think you would get used to really warm heating, get a lake-facing room and do not turn on the airconditioner.

The place is clean, well-maintained, and comfortably designed, creating a calm atmosphere from the moment you enter. Staff were professional, polite, and attentive, guiding us through the process and ensuring we were comfortable throughout the session. Even with language differences, communication was smooth and service quality remained high. Overall, this place offered great value for money and was a perfect way to unwind while travelling in Yunnan. Highly recommended for travellers looking to relax and recharge in Dali.

Excellent stay. Very good and helpful staff who gave us an upgrade and provide great assistance during an unexpected situation. Location is very close to the train station and business district. Ancient Town and the Pagodas are a bit of a hike but we found connectivity via Didi to be easy at 35 minutes and around 40 yuans. Breakfast is amazing, we really appreciated the western options and the coffee. Special call out to the front desk team working this morning for their assistance with coordinating the delivery of our lost items from another Hilton to our next Hotel, also a Hilton. Highly recommend.

A friend recommended this hotel, and it turned out to be a great choice. The location is good, quite close to Erhai Lake. There's an ecological park nearby with plenty of food options, and you can even ride shared bikes through it – the scenery is much better than the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor. The room was spacious, and for just over 200 RMB, it was excellent value for money. It also included breakfast, and they even provided complimentary breakfast for our two children, which was a nice touch. The hotel has a laundry room, a kids' club, and a gym on the first floor, which kept the little ones entertained. We had an early flight on our second day, so I didn't get a chance to take many photos, but here are some beautiful blue skies and white clouds from Dali!

The ideal location across from Dali railway station and bus number 4 conveniently gets you to the ancient town and three pagodas. As a hotel it serves the basics...though as non English speaker issues are not easily resolved despite them saying they have multilingual staff (that means they use an app). Rooms are not cleaned properly (dirty cups not replaced and amenities not restocked. The coffee/ tea area in the room is a cup and two tea bags - no stirrer sugar or milk. Breakfast is chaotic - running out of good, dirty and not enough space to sit when what seems the whole hotel cones to breakfast at the same time...group booking I would suggest. Gym is the biggest joke. All equipment is broken and I'm sure no management has checked it since it was purchased. Most of the time guest luggage is placed in front of the entrance to the gym as they eat in the restaurant! Would I recommend - only if proximity to station is important. Brett (Australia) Nov 25

Beautiful and clean room with nice view of the lake. Room cleanliness is excellent and they are very kind to offer 2 way transfer to the high speed rail even though the booking indicates only one way. The breakfast and afternoon tea are not only delicious, they ensure it looks as good as it tastes. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect in the last few days, we truly enjoyed our stay at the accommodation.
