Hotele w: Erhai Park, Dali

The hotel is at the sixth floor of a building inside a compound. The check-in process was very smooth. The location is a bit far away from the main attractions but is close to the train station, and the view from the room is amazing. It is a pity that our stay was so short, but for us it is was a pleasure to have our breakfast delivered to our building with ******* and enjoy it in our room with the nice view. The service was very nice connecting us with a driver for the day, and offering tips around the area. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The Pullman at Dali wa beautiful, modern and clean. Breakfast was good especially the Egg Benedict by the Chef. The restaurants recommended by hotel were great too. Everything was perfect except one key reminder for all travellers: we went there in December, but heating/airconditioning temperature was centralised and could not be adjusted despite the existence of adjustment buttons. As a result of that and the fact that our room was sun-facing, the room was very hot (28 degrees) and stuffy. What deserved a round of applause was the attitude of Eleven, the Manager of the Hotel. She changed us to a lake facing room and ensured that the airconditioner was off and the windows were opened the whole time. We appreciate her patience and professionalism - thank you. Tip: if you dont think you would get used to really warm heating, get a lake-facing room and do not turn on the airconditioner.

If I could, I’ll give a score of 100/10! This is such a fantastic experience staying here. What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too! Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!! And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time. The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp. Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent? Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit? And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍

*All 5-star Rating* The reception staff got in touch the day prior to the check-in, offering pick-up service from the main local transportation hubs. They attended to all our requests very quickly and accommodated all our requirements in a very satisfying way. From the amenity replenishment, complimentary breakfast, to special request like an extra table etc., we feel the attentive service. On the check-out day, we were offered two separate complimentary transfer services and with a packed up breakfast. Very happy with the service and the kindness of the staff members. The room is spacious and clean, the location is close to transportations, and the view is very nice. I would recommend this to friends and will consider staying with Aranya again when I’m next in Dali.

Excellent stay. Very good and helpful staff who gave us an upgrade and provide great assistance during an unexpected situation. Location is very close to the train station and business district. Ancient Town and the Pagodas are a bit of a hike but we found connectivity via Didi to be easy at 35 minutes and around 40 yuans. Breakfast is amazing, we really appreciated the western options and the coffee. Special call out to the front desk team working this morning for their assistance with coordinating the delivery of our lost items from another Hilton to our next Hotel, also a Hilton. Highly recommend.

I stayed here for 7 days because I was attending a training course at Dali International Hotel directly opposite. The front desk staff, especially the young ladies, were incredibly helpful with everything. The front desk also offers many complimentary items like hair ties, disinfectant wipes, hair clips, and makeup remover wipes. For breakfast, they even serve rice noodles and Ersi (a local noodle dish).

My entire trip to Dali was spent at the Meihau Hotel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. From its convenient location and room quality to the attentive service, it's truly a hidden gem for anyone visiting Dali. I highly recommend it to all friends traveling here. The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the high-speed train station and commercial areas, meaning you can arrive directly after getting off the train – saving time and hassle. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and it's easy to catch a taxi to the Ancient City or the Erhai Lake corridor. It perfectly balances convenient access with a peaceful stay, as you won't be disturbed by street noise. The hotel's overall decor is a light luxury and elegant style. The lobby incorporates Oriental bamboo and wood designs, with Yunnan-specific details visible everywhere. The public tea room and lounge areas are clean and tidy, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in your downtime. My king-size room was spacious and airy, featuring a smart home system where I could control lights and curtains with my voice – very high-tech. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the floors, bedding, and even the nooks and crannies of the bathroom were spotless. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas and stocked with branded toiletries. The mattress was soft yet supportive, paired with both soft and firm pillows, allowing even a light sleeper like me to get a good night's rest. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. The service was an added bonus. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic, checking me in efficiently and quickly. They even thoughtfully provided welcome fruits and local tea bags. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, including authentic Yunnan rice noodles and Ersi, as well as Western pastries, fresh fruits, and vegetables. The hotel also has a free gym and a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for long trips. The 24-hour front desk was always available, responding promptly to any request. The value for money is outstanding. Dali's scenery is soul-healing, and this hotel added so much warmth to my journey. Next time I visit Dali, I will definitely choose Meihau Hotel again, and I recommend it to all my friends and all visitors to Dali to book with confidence.

The ideal location across from Dali railway station and bus number 4 conveniently gets you to the ancient town and three pagodas. As a hotel it serves the basics...though as non English speaker issues are not easily resolved despite them saying they have multilingual staff (that means they use an app). Rooms are not cleaned properly (dirty cups not replaced and amenities not restocked. The coffee/ tea area in the room is a cup and two tea bags - no stirrer sugar or milk. Breakfast is chaotic - running out of good, dirty and not enough space to sit when what seems the whole hotel cones to breakfast at the same time...group booking I would suggest. Gym is the biggest joke. All equipment is broken and I'm sure no management has checked it since it was purchased. Most of the time guest luggage is placed in front of the entrance to the gym as they eat in the restaurant! Would I recommend - only if proximity to station is important. Brett (Australia) Nov 25

Wybraliśmy ten hotel w Dali. Na początku trudno było go znaleźć, a droga była ciągle blokowana przez hałas innych samochodów. Ale obsługa była bardzo dobra. Przyjechaliśmy wcześnie rano, ale pozwolono nam zameldować się wcześniej bez dodatkowych opłat. Pokój jest duży, ale nie ma podgrzewacza do łóżek ani ogrzewania podłogowego. Można włączyć klimatyzację i ustawić tryb ogrzewania, wtedy jest OK.
