considering i had a meeting right next door it was perfect. the only thing is the train at the crack of dawn. lol :)

Easy pick up from the airport however we thought they provided transport to the ship. Not so! $20 each to go 5 miles!

I had to fill out a long e-form to be able to park at $10.77/day. The website wasn’t working. One person told me that my car was at risk of being towed, another person said that nothing was going to happen overnight. I couldn’t believearsc I had to pay for parking at a Courtyard Marriott. Had to pay for breakfast too. No amenities included except 2 tiny bars of soap.

The property was okay and the the staff were very nice but the “restaurant” is more like a very expensive snack stand, the train noise was bothersome and it is very secluded so you can’t walk to a restaurant or store, etc.

Everyone working in the hotel was excellent except for the man on the check-in counter at night.
Our flight arrived after midnight and we arrived at the hotel at 02:00 but could not check in. Were we kicked out of the hotel and not allowed to stay in the comfortable lobby where we could have got some sleep but instead had to spend the night in the nearby train station, with the homeless.

It was the perfect hotel to stay at before and after our cruise. The rooms were great. The shuttle was very good. If we go back to Ft Lauderdale again, we will plan on staying at the Courtyard Marriott.
