Booked 5 rooms then rang up to confirm the rooms would be together and ground floor and at least 2 accessible but could manage with 3 normal , got there and checked in allocated upstairs rooms I explained allthough the receptionist could see that one of the rooms was for a very elderly and very unsteady on their feet needing assistance even with walking sticks after a while they gave them downstairs rooms which meant 3rooms upstairs 2 downstairs and I myself use a stick, we left my elderly Aunts and uncle in their rooms , i regret to say I didn’t check the bathroom . We were there for my Aunt and Uncles Grandaughters wedding and on the morning went to help them get ready and all they could do after a very long journey all they could do is have a wash down as the shower was over the bath , I struggled with a shower over the bath and I’m in my 60s not ideal as they were on the top table representing the brides parents as they both no longer with us, they felt really let down by the hotel and they had said this to the girl on reception who said her manager was aware of the situation, I was given a card with details of making a complaint but as yet I’m still awaiting a response
