The staff of the Grand Hotel Palace was knowledgeable and helpful with our every request. They summoned taxies, gave recommendations for restaurants which were very good, and were always very welcoming. The rooms were large, clean, and bright. We especially enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet which offered both hot and cold options and was kept well stocked. The hotel itself is in a good location, across from the American Embassy. There were several good restaurants nearby and, of course, a gelato shop two blocks away. We would recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay in Rome.

We stayed in a Superior Double Room for 2 nights. The hotel is gorgeous throughout, especially the cloister which serves as the main hallway on the ground floor. The Donna Camilla even has its own beautiful church. Our room was large with a true king bed and large bathroom, and high ceilings. Breakfast is served either in the cloister or outside in the pretty courtyard garden, which has lots of shade due to the trees and umbrellas. We enjoyed the fresh tortes and cappuccinos. The location couldn’t be better, just a block away from the action in Trasvestere but without the noise and crowds. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

This hotel was perfect for sightseeing in Rome! Booked for my partner’s birthday and the hotel staff made this extra special by providing a room with a balcony with a view of the Victor Emmanuel II Monument. Bed was huge and very comfortable, air-con worked great and the staff were extremely helpful - particularly on our last day storing our luggage when we checked out in the morning and organising taxi’s to Ciampino in the evening. If you are prepared to walk everywhere this hotel is a great option, within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions with the furthest about 40mins to Vatican City and Trastevere. It was not an issue for us but as stated in other reviews the open-plan design and lack of privacy between the bedroom and shower/sink area may be uncomfortable for some visitors. Overall a great hotel which I’d highly recommend!!

The location of the hotel is very good, in the center of Rome. It is very convenient to walk to the attractions in Rome. It is next to the largest shopping mall in Rome. It's safe all around. The hotel service is very attentive, proactive and quite satisfactory. The room is not too big, but it is sufficient. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. The bathroom is large and the water is flush. The hotel is designed in a modern style, especially the lighting, which is all point-type. The room is black in color and relatively dark. Young people may prefer it, but I am not used to it at my age. The air conditioner in the room is loud. The hotel restaurant has a very good environment, the breakfast is particularly good, and the desserts are great.

The biggest feature is that the drink tube is enough. I did not finish the drink for the three nights alone. Of course, I liked the juice. I drank both bottles. The potato chips were also eaten. Drinks, dining environment is also very good, there is a handsome waiter, everyone can feel it.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a week in this hotel .. what to say? MARVELOUS. The hotel's location is perfect as it allows you to move quickly and easily to visit the most beautiful places in the city such as the Colosseum! As soon as you arrive, I immediately notice the kindness and friendliness of Mr. ANTONIO at the reception who welcomed us warmly. We check-in and immediately go up to the room. The hotel looks great, the cleanliness immediately catches the eye. The room is equipped with all comforts, spacious and very refined, the TV is equipped with a system that allows you to book tours from the comfort of your bed, updating the weather, news, menus and history ... in my opinion it is something that I really appreciated. All flawless! Since Rome is a very tired city, we also allowed ourselves the spa, what can I say .. Unique! From the hot tub, to the sauna and emotional showers. Also on the roof there is a terrace to have breakfast and enjoy a beautiful view! We will definitely be back!

I VERY rarely leave reviews but it would be an injustice not to do so. We just spent three nights at Hotel Lunetta which it is perfectly located in city center. The hotel is wonderful, clean, and modern. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. The shower was awesome! But what made our visit perfect was the spectacular staff. Roberto and the other front desk managers were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our room (it was our fault) and they went out of their way to accommodate our requested changes. Antonio the bellman was also fantastic as were the breakfast hosts. Loved the breakfast, the coffee and the spa. But I'll say it again, the staff made this an excellent hotel. We felt like the most important guests to ever stay there. Thank you again!

Stayed September 2023 for 3 days with family of 4 Room: Junior Suite. I give all my credit to professional prompt personnel. Had to rebook our stay for to getting Covid-19 for. Muhammad at front desk was the best help: calm, professional and very prompt. I am very thankful for all his help out stay was great thanks to him! Absolutely gorgeous hotel bathroom especially. Room is elegantly decorated same way the entire hotel is. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks and helped with bags. Breakfast was great as well. I did miss my usual smoked salmon though. Madeleine was very friendly and welcoming, taking care of all our needs during breakfast. My daughter doesn’t want scrambled eggs so we asked for freshly made 2 sunny side up eggs and wish was immediately granted! I asked for a plastic cup to take my coffee to go, and Priscilla said “I will make a fresh one for you right away!”. It was very nice of her. Best part: due to working until 3am on computer, O told my family I will be skipping breakfast and sleeping in. How surprised I was when upon my husband and daughter arrival back to the room: the door opened and Priscilla walked in with a tray full of all breakfast items! Hotel does cost quite a bit, but the personnel professional approach is worth it 100%. The only minor issue we had was shower door that wasn’t fully closing that’s why we kept putting towels on the floor. However, everyday housekeeping did excellent job cleaning! Location is center- walk literally to anything important. As a finishing point of our Italian trip we had a romantic evening with drinks (and delicious free snacks to go with it) on the rooftop terrace. Again staff and drinks quality was amazing. This is the most luxurious hotel on this trip. When we booked a 3-person room, we should have directly opened the connecting door of the two adjacent double rooms and turned them into suites for us. The area of ​​a standard room is not large. The hotel provides welcome champagne, handwritten welcome cards, and ACQUA DI PARMA for bath products. The bed is relatively comfortable, the bath towels are thick and soft, and the mini bar has a rich variety. Two free bottles of mineral water and sparkling water are provided daily. Opposite the hotel is a military-related government department, so there are soldiers on hand throughout the day, which makes me feel instantly safe. Of course, the curtains may not be fully open during the day, because it is too close to the office building opposite. The location is very good. It is only ten minutes' walk from Castel Angel and Vatican City. It is very comfortable to run along the river in the morning. The only thing that is not ideal is that there are too few types of breakfast, each person has a fixed set, and there are a small amount of self-service fruits, yogurt and drinks.

Firstly, the perfect location for exploring, half way between the Vatican and the Coliseum and with 300m of the Trevi fountain with the Pantheon about 500m the other way! They picked us up from the airport and brought us to the spacious room (huge) and a large bathroom, great breakfast brought to the room every morning. Great coffee (there all day) and Nicolette and the team helped with the location of the rooftop bars (essential to book early). All the team were superb! Thank you for making the stay amazing and we will be back!oh, and the restaurant at the front entrance - great service, amazing staff, huge steaks and big cold beers! Got to be the place to stay in Rome!!
