We were planning to drive to Montrose in our tiny rav-4 but a unexpected snow storm came in and we had to make a change of plans. We determined it was not safe to continue driving so we drove back where the snow plow had plowed and found this motel in Delores. The room overall was better than we expected and had 3 queen sized beds which the children found legendary (because we are cheap😂). We had a wonderful experience which included breakfast, nice staff, and even a huge closet area. I definitely would recommend staying here especially with kids.

This Inn is extremely clean and pleasant and the people are exceptionally helpful and friendly. They will accommodate you in anyway they can. The price included breakfast (try there fabulous green chili stew!) We stayed at the other motel in Dolores just two weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. Dolores mountain Inn is a great value with wonderful people. It feels very safe there.

This place offered a huge room— actually a suite— for a great price. It was comfortable and clean. Not the most modern, but functional and very satisfactory. Nice town. Only thing lacking was coffee. Shower was great. Definitely would stay here again.
