Hotele niedaleko South Bridge, Dujiangyan

When you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.   Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.   We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path.  We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.   I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.    A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

This hotel is absolutely, incredibly, exceptionally good!!!! I'm genuinely impressed, and I rarely leave reviews. This was my first staycation experience, and it was a fantastic one. I can only say that the hotel owner has both great taste and a lot of heart. I hope they can maintain this standard; I'll definitely be back. Here are a few highlights: 1. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept so soundly. The room had a lot of wooden furniture, which felt very high-end and smelled wonderful. You even get to choose a scent before checking in! Plus, it was exceptionally clean. So many small details made my stay satisfying 🥹. 2. I came specifically for the activities and tried calligraphy meditation (I thought it would be an hour, but it turned out to be two and a half! It felt very much like meditation) and singing bowl meditation (the instructor was so gentle and professional, a truly wonderful experience, like being in Chiang Mai). I also did some Baduanjin (after breakfast, I did a session and worked up a good sweat, which felt great). 3. The service was excellent, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Next time, I want to come back with a group of friends and stay in a villa!!!

Is one of the best experience of the hotel stay that I had. Is definitely worth the money and can even compete with the five-star hotel services. The only thing is a laundry room has only two washroom and two dryer and it’s not automatic. But it’s free. The breakfast is good. The room is equipped with AI so when you open the door, the curtain in it, TV will automatically on. I love the stay. Thanks for your service. 

Lovely host! Check-in was smooth and easy. The homestay is located on the 2nd floor, just a short walk to all the main attractions, including the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. It’s also conveniently near Lidui Gongyuan Station, making travel very convenient. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby as well. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay!

The owner was genuinely kind and very helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make things easy for us. They even helped us carry our luggage up and down, which meant a lot especially since we were travelling with kids and had quite a few bags. What we appreciated most was how thoughtful they were in sharing local tips. They recommended several nice places to visit around Dujiangyan, including family-friendly spots, good food, and scenic areas that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Because of their suggestions, our trip became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome, almost like staying with family rather than at a hotel. We’re truly grateful for their kindness and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dujiangyan.

A delightful experience! From the moment we stepped out of the wagon arriving at Six Senses, we were instantly delighted by the freshnesss of air and the vibe here. Simple yet so classy! Absolutely blown away by how it’s done and the seamless integration with nature elevated the whole experience of staying at SS to another level. e.g. the breakfast place was so enjoyable not only because of the food but also of the space design and program arrangement (there was a tai chi demonstration while we were having breakfast which I never would have thought to be so pleasing and peace-inducing!). I had to try the tai chi class afterwards and it was so refreshing, energizing and tranquil! A wonderful start to the day! The room was extremely comfortable and everything was immaculately designed and arranged. Didn’t have enough time to explore everything available for enjoyment at SS this time so I’m hoping to go again with my family as this place definitely can cater to all needs from toddlers to elderlies and with indulgence. The staff were attentive and showed great hospitality as you’d expect from the best. Special thanks to Hickey who looked after us during our stay and attended to all our needs promptly and made sure we had a brilliant time throughout. Also thank you to the staff at the front desk who packed us a box full of cookies to take onwards knowing that we were tired and peckish and leaving after a long hike at the mountain.

Gospodarze byli niesamowicie mili i nawet dali nam jazdę do wejścia do Góry Qingcheng i dworca kolejowego Qingcheng. Jeśli planujesz wycieczkę góry Qingcheng, całkowicie zalecam pobyt tutaj. 1.The Pokój był super przestronny i wyglądał jak zdjęcia. Wszystko czuło się świeże, czyste i super komfortowe. 2.The łóżko było naprawdę miękkie, a wszystkie udogodnienia były nowoczesne i dobrze wymyślone. 3.The Ludzie byli przyjazni, pomocni, i po prostu naprawdę uroczy ogólnie. 4.Great lokalizacja – blisko stacji Qingcheng i góry. 5.Breakfast jest włączony, ale niestety obudziliśmy się za późno, aby spróbować ๆit. Następnym razem na pewno! Tam obiadliśmy, choć, i był pyszny. 6.Honestly, wszystko było świetne. Całkowicie warte każdej pensy.

Spacious and clean rooms. Heater available in the toilet as well. Bonus: daily tea set, good breakfast, pick up drop off within 3km, washing machine with dryer function. Friendly and amazing service as well! One night, we asked for milk for the children and they delivered!

We spent 2 days mid-March in this hotel, mostly because we wanted to be in the middle of nature and have a great view from our room (it is, indeed). The manager, alongside with the gentle lady working at the restaurant upstairs, were very kind. Downsides are the relatively thin wall and I must say, the size of the room. Maybe we didn't pick the best one either! In conclusion, we had a good time there.

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad. I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either). As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office. A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain). On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan. Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
