Great view of the lake. Shopping was within walking. The room was quite. Would definitely come again.

I asbolutely enjoyed the stay with my husband and my 16mo old baby. Very nice staff. We were luck to meet owner at the lobby after breakfast. He told us more stories about this property and the waves at Canal Park from a photo book. I love how these stories were put together and ready to be shared with guests. I feel bad that if we didn’t have the unexpected encounter in the morning, we would have missed these stories. We never thought of opening those photo books in the lobby or really paying much attention to what was presented to us silently. Now I realized that so many things were so carefully put together and well thought out. I loved our stay, service offered and the wonderful cranberry wild rice toast served as breakfast. :) we will come back. Thank you!

I didn’t like that we didn’t have hot water the night of our stay, which means we couldn’t use the hot tub or the shower, I would’ve appreciated a heads up at arrival since they knew there was a water issue, and didn’t mention it to us, and I would’ve appreciated some communication back when I called the evening of our day to find out what was going on. We didn’t have water until the morning. We were leaving this frustrating after traveling a great distance and spending a lot of money to stay for the night.

Check in and out was a breeze and the staff was kind and helpful. Loved the view, and proximity to shops and restaurants was a perk. Slept with the blinds semi open to enjoy the view all night long. Hope to visit again soon.

We really enjoyed our getaway. We knew we would be close to the lift bridge but it is literally steps away! Since we were there in February there were not ships going through the canal but it was still worth the price. Hot tub in the room was a great perk. Everyone was very friendly and informative when we asked for ideas of places to see/go. Bed was a little hard for our liking.

Outside of property was dated bad shape needs a ton of work parking lot was a war zone of potholes, fire pit was on top of the road facing the street rather than the view. Breakfast was a joke some homemade goods in ziplock bags worst continental breakfast I’ve ever had. Overall this was not a 350.00 a night hotel I will never stay again staff very dull and not very inviting and way over priced definitely check out the hikers just down the street everyone had good things to stay, south pier was below average and price was way to high for this place.

The bed was amazing, so very comfortable. The view of the lift bridge was spectacular. The road conditions around the property leading out were pretty sketchy, in the dark it felt like you were going to drive right into Lake Superior, fortunately/hopefully this is a work in progress

Nice bridge view, quiet and easy walk to canal park, boardwalk etc. Was a nice walk to Sir Benidicts with great food and music!

The stay was very nice. The front desk staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was very nice. There are a flag of Finland and a flag of Poland hanging outside. I was told that the owners are from those countries. Very cool.
