The location of this hotel is phenomenal. It was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was also great even though we had an upstairs room, we could sit outside our front door and watch the view. The breakfast was superb...a fantastic offering of many options from hot or cold foods. Everything from fresh made waffles, REAL oatmeal with all the toppings you could want, cheesy omelets, scrambled eggs, toast, danishes, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt and a coffee and juice bar. My only two complaints were that the bed wasn't very comfortable for me. It was too firm. It might be great for someone else but the firmness kept me up, again, that's just me because I prefer a softer bed. The other not so great thing was that the shower would either put out scalding hot water or just cold water...nothing in between. I'm thinking the hot/cold water diverter might need maintenance. The drinks at the waterfront bar were delicious also. We were in room 223 on Sept. 24th, in case management wants to look at it. Other than that, everything was great....we'll definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel! Private balconies, harbor views. Fabulous walk score, i spent a whole day walking between the local craft breweries and eating seafood fresh from the harbor boats. One of my favorite places to stay in Florida with my cat!

This place was fantastic for our family stay. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, pool and hot tub, and views were great. Rooms felt a bit dated but there was a certain Florida nostalgic charm to it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Yacht Club in Dunedin very much. The hotel is very comfortable and is located in a convenient location with great water views. The daily free breakfast was a nice perk since it was not only very good, but well managed.
Our only complaint was the check in experience. We arrived around 2:45pm and was told our room was not ready because the previous occupants had checked out late. We were asked to wait until it was cleaned and ready, so we waited in the lobby for an hour. We finally asked the front desk what the status was and he said the room was ready and was unaware we were told to wait. The lady at the front desk who originally told us to wait had apparently left for the day and failed to notify us or the new front desk manage that we were still waiting.

Best Western should be ashamed to charge the rate they do for this hotel. This hotel could be so much more with an amazing location on the Dunedin waterfront. Sadly the quality of our room was terrible. Cheap linens, exposed pipes under both sinks, a shower curtain for a bathroom door that fell down and staff put back up with duct tape, shower head on opposite side of faucet (weird), grumpy front desk staff, tired patio furniture and the kicker - pool was closed for maintenance for our entire stay.. This hotel should be so much better!

Unfortunately the room I reserved was not available at check in. Even though I had a confirmation the hotel was fully committed. The best they could do was give me a credit. Other than that everything went smoothly.

Great location right next to Marina and easy walk to Dunedin shops, restaurants and events. Very nice staff, good breakfast with terrific hostess

I was impressed with the hotel. For it's price, it was clean, the staff was friendly, the free breakfast was surprisingly decent, and the pool was a nice surprise. The rooms are definitely dated and in need of a refresh, but they were clean and quiet. One small complaint is that there are very few electrical plugs, and they are all so worn that the phone charger doesn't hold itself in the plug.
The location is great, right by the marina, with easy access for walks by the ocean or up in to town. For those of you going to the ballpark, it's only about a 20 min walk away.
