Royal Palm Hotel

After staying at the Royal Palm for more than a month, and having travelled round the world and stayed in some pretty darn fancy hotels, I would rate the Royal Palm top in its class. It's not a big resort. It's not a boutique thingamajiggy. It's a really nicely run small hotel that fights far above its weight class. I still have the signed mug the staff gave for my goodbye party. Tisha, Marie, Devon and Alton (and a few names I can't read anymore!) came and threw the guest -- someone who loves Briland but ain't a personage of note -- a farewell party. They put together a perfect little outside office me as I had to -- GASP -- work during much of my stay. I never had a problem with the wifi. One of my favorite moments-- Easter was coming. One of the cleaning staff asked if I wanted any hot cross buns. I wisely said yes. She brought me a pan of the most enormous and most delicious hot cross buns ever -- anywhere! Why brother and I gave half the tray away to neighbors as we knew we couldn't eat them all. If you love the Bahamas or love doing something your more boring friends might not be willing to try this is the place to stay for a long time. I won't tell you how much I paid but it cost me less than living in Washington DC! I live in Australia now so I don't get to the Bahamas as often as I did before moving, but I'll be back in 2025!

This location is perfect, but it's VERY run down. The plumbing is terrible. No water pressure. REALLY needs to be deep cleaned. Old furniture in room. Maid service may or may not happen. You may or may not get cable. There's no cutlery in the 'kitchen'. Quirky place. Great location in terms of being close to 'town'. You NEED a golf cart on this island!!

We use the Royal Palm regularly now for our team coming over and working on the island, very clean, nice quiet area and very cost effective, too many over priced places in H.I. this is best value for money. Minette at reception is great, very effecient

Omg. I got in late an the front desk lady was extremely helpful an nice she walked with me to my room we talked an laughed on the way. I love it. The room is a 100/10 lol

The accommodation is large and clean. The location is very good, close to restaurants, supermarket and 15 minutes walk to the beach. Overall the stay is recommendable. To put a but, perhaps it is a little noisy.

Great time during my stay on harbour island! I got many tips were I can eat like the locals - I appreciated this support very much! When I’m coming back, I will go to stay there again! Everthing was just perfect. Very nice rooms!

I cannot give a review of the property as we never got to the island.was told ferries run to harbor island and upon arrival to nassau we learned that was not true. We had no means to get to the island and were still charged and had to pay last min pricing on 4 more days in nassau. They refused to let me rebook for a different week. Simply said tough luck we are keeping the money

Staff was very friendly, flexible and helpful. Room was comfortable and cleaned very well every day. Location is an easy walk from Government dock (where the ferry arrives), and in the middle of town near everything including the beach. I recommend Royal Palm Hotel 100%.

The door could not open properly because it kept hitting the bed. Which made it an issue for getting in & out of the room. Also, the tv never worked properly in the room. There was a lot of noise from unruly guests. I would suggest that they make that a one king bed room. Also, I would suggest adding a deadbolt to the rooms for extra security. There was also a lack of service from staff.
