The hotel was nice and convenient but we had no hot water. Had to call front desk twice and surpassingly they fixed but in the morning when we ran water there wasn’t any. Toilet was not flushing properly and water would run all the time. Asked at the front desk how to get to bus station to go to Mazatlan only to be given ‘wrong information. All in all it wasn’t good experience with hotel (he spoke English, very disappointing). Durango is nice city but English isn’t spoken very much. People were lovely and friendly. No complaints with the city.

It was a very beautiful hotel and the park around the hotel was nice. We did have a good service from the personal. Only bad thing was the cold water and the showers were not working fine. Showerheads needed cleaning from the chalk!

Hotel Gobernador is the place I always look forward to staying in Durango. It's a beautiful hotel, the service is excellent, and it is very well located. The hotel is old, but it is very well maintained and always clean.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gobernador. The property is very well taken care of. There are also security guards posted at the entrances and they also walk around the property to make sure all is in order. I felt safe at Hotel Gobernador. The hotel has two dining options. The food they serve at both restaurants is delicious and they use very fresh ingredients. I’m a coffee lover and the coffee gets two thumbs up from me. They also have fresh juice. The gift shop is filled with all sorts of interesting items. They have jewelry, sweets, and clothing. I really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend it.

Great staff and service Great location, walkable to downtown. Amazing food and restaurant inside the hotel. Perfect place to relax.
