Wequassett Resort and Golf Club

I stayed at the resort for a business conference and it was amazing and so beautiful. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

This is a SUPERB Resort Hotel on the Cape - I HIGHLY recommend it!!! A few staff members merit special comment. The bartenders Victor & Jordan were OUTSTANDING with perfectly crafted cocktails. We enjoyed breakfast each day and JOEY the Manager, LAFANE our server & CARISSA our food presentation arranger were EXCELLENT. We even had a visit for the Executive Chef, Mr. Hackney!!! Our room (Hydrangea #225) was great, beautiful decor and a balcony overlooking a quiet bay - it doesn't get better for a relaxing experience.

Really spectacular, feels like you're in paradise, staff is very friendly, professional, and accommodating.

These accommodations were a disaster. Paid over $1800 per night for water view suite. Greeted by peeling paint at the outside entrance to our room. Water view was limited due to overgrown foliage. Patio furniture was filthy. The bathroom was a joke. It had a tiny little single sink and nowhere to put any of our toiletries. Pool lounges were comfortable but pretty old and very worn. On the plus side we enjoyed the breakfasts and the employees were very nice and tried to please the guests. I believe there were plans to do some major renovations but unless that has happened, I would never recommend this resort. Oh yeah, and forget trying to park your car anywhere near your room. There were weddings being held on the property on the first two nights of our stay. Traffic in around the place was ridiculous. Had to park our car way far away. This was difficult for us senior citizens.

All of the staff, from the front desk staff to the groundskeepers were exceptionally courteous and polite. Given that I was at a large wedding party, I know that preparing and serving food is a challenge, the sirloin steak that I had was cold and mediocre at best.

I planned our family trip to Cape Cod based on review and pictures from Trip Advisor and the Wequassett Resort. We were charged an exorbitant amount for two rooms that were filthy and old. Especially the bathrooms!!! I don't believe they care much about housekeeping because it continued in the workout facility. If you like working out with a bunch of flies, not kidding, this is your resort! No pool service to speak of either. I am not sure why we were charged a resort fee. Nobody works. I would have given this resort 0's across the board if I could.

Fantastic stay and we will definitely be back. Rachel was outstanding and very helpful at the front desk, and so was Jordan at the welcome area, Mervin at the restaurant, and June at housekeeping.

Wequassett was easily the best decision I made during wedding planning. I researched every venue on the Cape (and I mean every venue), and I found much to my surprise that Wequassett offered the best value. We first met with Amy, who was very transparent about costs and what is included in each package. I never felt like I was pressured to spend more money than I was comfortable with. We were assigned Megan as our coordinator six months out. She was extremely helpful in the lead-up to our wedding. She checked in constantly and was always available if we had any questions. We finally met in person at our personal tasting about three months prior to the wedding day, and we both felt completely secure with her. She really helped bring our vision of the day to life. Our wedding day itself was beyond fantastic -- words actually fail me. The only time I almost cried on the day was when Megan opened the doors for our private tour of the ballroom before the guests were let in. Megan absolutely nailed it. The food was incredible (guests keep saying that it's the best wedding food that they have ever had), the cake was amazing (Ashley knocked it out of the park), the food and bar service was incredible (Akira was our personal butler during cocktail hour and she was so attentive to our needs. Megan and Akira even bustled my dress for me, which my bridesmaids appreciated! Curtis also was incredible throughout the day), and, of course, the view was unbeatable. We also stayed at Wequassett the night of our wedding. They very kindly upgraded us to a cottage and provided a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. I would get married at Wequassett again in a heartbeat. Thank you to all of the staff at Wequassett for making our wedding day incredible. We had the day of our dreams, and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversaries there.
