We stayed for 3 nights as a family with children under the age of 6 and had the best time. The hotel service is exceptional, every need was met. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the valet who helped us park the car and take our bags. They reserved our space for us with a board for the whole stay. The children received a kids backpack with hat, yo-yo and colouring in. We went straight down to the health club to the indoor pool. When we came out the reception said our room was now ready and collected the keys for us. Our room was a junior suite, it spotless and sizeable with drinks provided on ice and slippers for everyone. In the evening the children could order complimentary milk and cookies which they loved. The outdoor pool was heated and lovely when the sun was out, this was end of may/June. There also was a waiter serving drinks outside. The breakfast was amazing, great selection and the kids loved have every meal served with a cloche and countdown reveal. The added extras on the service make this a wonderful hotel. The positives far outweigh the negatives, I guess it could do with some new carpets and some new upholstery but the charm of the old building supersedes this and although old it was very clean. The bed mattress was ok, quite soft. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok for young children. We will be back again!! Thank you
This was my second stay, the first with my granddaughter aged 2 and 10 months. Everything was perfect, I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone was just so friendly and we had a wonderful time. We felt like part of the family and were very much ”at home” staying at the Beach Front. A big thank you from myself and Isabel for making us feel so welcome.
Easy to find and good location however after a hectic day the greeting from the receptionist was less than welcoming. He was on the phone to someone and continued with his conversation without acknowledgement or comment. Asked for my ID to which I replied I didn't know I need to provide one especially as paid directly with travel agent and is not necessary. He told me no I'd you not stay I will cancel booking. I said all I'm saying is it would be nice to know beforehand and should be in the confirmation email. It got heated. Finally got my keys. No lift and on top floor. No offer of assistance. Room adequate and comfortable for price paid. Receptionist came and apologised which was appreciated.
All. In all a comfortable stay but unlikely to return

The room was clean and comfortable and everything worked as it should. Value for money. The hotel is in a good location, for the town and the seafront. with all the bars and cafes. Also a good location for the start of a hike to beachy head through to seven sisters, then back which was the purpose of my stay.
Excellent location for the beach, various restaurants, shops and the railway station - with the added bonus of having on-site parking. We were welcomed by the lovely Nickole who was full of smiles and very friendly. She explained the breakfast room, showed us the evening facilities (i.e. if you wanted use of a microwave), and where the lounge area was (with drink facilities if required). Our booking was for 2 single rooms and as requested were on the same floor. The rooms, each with their own bathroom, have everything you need and the beds were very comfy. Overall this B&B is nice and clean and in a good location. At the end of my stay I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Steve and through our chat I could see his passion for ensuring his guests would have a great stay (since they took this place on last year), and that he would be a good custodian of this lovely old Victorian building. I look forward to returning in the very near future.
Arrived here July 26 for one week. Reception staff very efficient and well organized, they had us all off our coach and in our rooms within a matter of minutes. We had upgraded to a sea view and premier room and we were not disappointed, we were pleasantly surprised by the refurbished room, which was large, new bathroom, spotlessly clean. Amazing views. The maid changed towels and sheets on a daily basis. Plenty of storage and roomy. No complaints at all here. The breakfast was help yourself to a wide choice of cereals, fruit, juice and yogurts, there was even porridge. Wide choices of cooked breakfast with eggs anyway you like them cooked, of which we had, delicious poached and scrambled. Staff were excellent with prompt service, friendly and courteous. Would just like to give Daniel a special mention, he was very pleasant young man. Evening meals very good with a wide choice, well prepared and tasty food. Very pleasant bar staff, the bar is located at the front of the hotel, which is a great location. The bar staff could not do enough for you, we ordered champagne for our anniversary, the staff put it on ice and served it to our table after dinner, they also served other wines etc. We ate lunch here, and it was delicious freshly made and reasonably priced. We would like to mention Dace who was very hardworking and attentive to all the guests. All the other bar staff were too. The hotel we thought was very well run and all staff were efficient. On the odd occasion that we requested anything it was dealt with in a very quick and professional manner.

Have stay at this hotel a few times now so we decided to stay again for the bank holiday weekend. Once again the hotel staff were excellent and could not do enough. 24 hour reception is useful. The rooms are basic, nothing fancy but they are clean and just what you need for a short vacation. Nice little snacks in the reception area, Rocky biscuits and sweets. Fridge down stairs with access to 24hr alcohol that pick and pay for at receptions. What is a nice addition is the snack bag in the morning. Parking pass from reception which lasts for 24 and then just update Overall I love this hotel, great location, great price and allows pets

Very Good
I used to be a regular guest at this hotel, but I have not stayed for a few years. It was a pleasure to return and see some familiar faces. It was also very nice to be remembered from quite a few years ago, and to receive a warm welcome. My room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast was as plentiful and delicious as I remembered from last time. As I arrived quite late, I had to park about 10 minutes walk away, but the complimentary parking permit was very much appreciated. I hope to be back again soon!
GGuest UserNeeded a room at the last minute and it was the only one available .... looking at the reviews I know why! However we did not experience some of these issues. No homeless around so don’t know if the hotel are still accommodating them anymore. We were upgraded to a sea view twin 227 which was an added bonus. The room was just repainted white so gave a fresh feel but you could see it was a quick refurb job. Furniture very dated and worn. No plug sockets near the mirror to do hair/makeup and you need to take your own hairdryer. I did get one from Reception. The beds were really comfy and although we were on the front with windows open we had a quiet nights sleep. There is free wifi and tea and coffee in room which was helpful. The sink is tiny in the really small toilet so filling the kettle is impossible. No catering facilities as the restaurant is closed but we didn’t need it..... don’t know why ! The lift is not working and this is said to be down to covid but don’t know how true this is tbh ! The place needs updating and would I go back ? Prob not because I couldn’t guarantee I would get a sea view room which I wouldn’t pay £154 for ! Their own website is not a true reflection of the hotel at this time. There is no mention of the restaurant being closed which might be an issue for some.
Checked in and was greeted by a very helpful and friendly Adel who kindly gave us a very nice room which is clean and bright and Ruth who rung to ask for feedback. I would give 5 stars for their service but 1 star for the hotel itself for reasons below. Unfortunately, the water stops for quite a while during my showers (up to 3 times on one occasion) which is not nice when covered in shampoo not knowing if it will come on again! It also makes a loud whirling noise like a helicopter outside when in the bedroom. The bed is very soft and there are some not nice smells in the corridors. The reception is unmanned most of the time so expect to wait outside on arrival to be let in or if you need a receptionist. Apart from that, the hotel is well located a few minutes from the pier and 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Overall the hotel needs redecorating inside and out. Hopefully the management will do this soon. The great plus in staying in Eastbourne unlike Brighton and other seaside towns are the free parking everywhere within 5-10 minutes walk to the town centre and pier / seaside.

Eastbourne Pier
JJQKABBQCompared with other white cliffs, Eastbourne's municipal planning is better. There is no garbage on the road, but in London, the strong wind blows the garbage everywhere. It is so clean and comfortable that you can feel that there is a human hand behind it to maintain it carefully. Walk along the beach to the matcha tiramisu. First experience the downhill and then the return. Experience the uphill. How far is it? This walk totals 30,000 steps for reference. There are all kinds of people along the way. Feel their ease and happiness. Envy the Xiu Gou Gou who can run on such a large grass slope. There is a Xiu Gou Gou who is far away. Watching the owner's child and her husband's dog playing in a trance. My dear dog son and his friends are far away at the door of my hometown in Shanghai. They are experiencing an endless cycle of epidemic blockades. It is difficult to go to the toilet. There are years in a dog's life, and the epidemic accounts for three years. I hope Shanghai can fight its way out this time and return to normal. I also hope that in the uncontrolled disaster, people can calm down and think independently. How to live better
Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway
TTodemmyDelightful place! Easy access with free parking and reasonable fees. Young and old enjoyed the small train ride around the park. A pleasant walk around the lake and wooded areas with lots to see along the way. There are refreshments on site, clean toilets and plenty of outdoor seating. If you have brought a picnic, the car park is close by so you just ask for re-entry at the gate so you don't have to carry your basket around.
Hampden Park
Jjack Smethemlovely park with a great lake full of wildlife and great for the family for a good day out. A great place to rewind and chill out
Sovereign Harbour Marina
易易茜韵楹We walked along the pedestrian street from the pier area and it was worth a walk in good weather and you could see the locks at work when the boats came in and out. There were plenty of bars and restaurants, but a pity most of the food was ordinary except for sunset.
