Było to trochę mylące, ponieważ hotel (budynek na terenie kampusu) zmienił nazwę między moją rezerwacją a przyjazdem. Parkowanie było trudne, ponieważ po przejechaniu całego kampusu były dosłownie 2 wolne miejsca (a to, które wybraliśmy, okazało się nieodpowiednie...) ze względu na budowę uniemożliwiającą korzystanie z pobliskiej działki. Mimo wszystko pobyt był wspaniały – cudowna przyroda, ogrody i architektura na terenie kampusu; pokój był wyjątkowo ładny, z dużym wyborem gorących napojów; lokalizacja znajduje się tuż pod Tronem Artura, skąd można dojść pieszo do Royal Mile w Pałacu Holyrood; śniadanie było pyszne (spróbuj haggis – jest pyszne!), w tym bufet i gorące posiłki; a recepcjonista był bardzo pomocny dwóm zmęczonym podróżnikom i skierował nas do wygodnego Salisbury Arms na pyszny obiad i ** a**osferę.

Room is small (same as what was posted online) but a 32" luggage cannot be opened fully. minimal walking space in the room.
Not much table space for work, location is abit far off. Didnt realise the 'distance' while booking.
Lovely view from room - sneek peak of Arthur Seat, woke up with birds chirpping, pretty relaxing
No aircon in the room, so need to open the window for ventilation
Bathroom is small, water takes sometime to be hot and water will splash out on the floor. There was water leakage from the corner of the glass panel, which made a puddle of water after each shower.
Front desk and bar service was fantastic, very friendly folks.

It was an amazing experience! New, clean room in a calm and quiet campus area. You may need a taxi to travel back and forth if you have a lot of luggage, but the hotel is still within walkable distances from the city centre.
Friendly and welcoming staff members and decent amenities in the room. Everything looks clean and not dusty. Even the mirrors are carefully wiped!
What a hotel! I'll definitely be coming back next time in Edinburgh.

This hotel was just perfect for me.
Spacious and well organised rooms with plenty of drawers to put your stuff. The only minus is that there is a narrow passage between the wall and a king-size bed, but at the same time you have a separate section in the room with a big desk, a big drawer and a cozy armchair.
Everything neat and clean.
Breakfast was delicious and served in style. You order by menu.
All the staff was super nice. Many thanks to them for creating such a hospitable environment!

The most amazing hidden gem.
Great deal for one night b&b even though it was 6 Nations rugby weekend .
The room was extremely comfortable with beautifully scented locally sourced shower gels and shampoo in the immaculately presented bathroom .
As for the staff …despite being extremely busy everyone we came across had a smile and helpful conversation . The receptionist even took us to the gate to guide us to the bus stop having printed off a timetable . Only 10 minutes and £2 into the city centre . £9 for taxi back so with the cost of city centre parking it’s a no brainer to use the free onsite parking .
Breakfast did not disappoint either and was far from ordinary and totally delicious . Sadly there was no time to sample other meals however …I we shall be back ! Very well done .

I had a fantastic time at "The Scholar" hotel and couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience. Firstly, the service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel has friendly and welcoming staff. The room was bigger than I expected and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Location is not touristy but mire suitable to whoever is in town on business or for a conference.
