Ingrids Apartments

This place is by far the best accommodation you could find in Eidfjord or anywhere else in Hardanger area. We had the 3 bedroom apar**ent in the ground floor with such a magnificent view towards the fjord. The apar**ent was very modern and with such a nice decor. We wishes we could have stayed longer. Do not hesitate and stay here!

After reading many positive reviews, we were looking forward to our stay at Ingrid's. So, we were very disappointed to be told that they could no longer accommodate us, without providing any explanation and leaving us less than 3 weeks to find an alternative place to stay in peak season. Not recommended.

Jos haluat lukea suomenkielisen arvion, se löytyy alempaa. We stayed here for one night during our Norway roadtrip due to It's location near to Vøringsfossen. Nothing special but great value for money. Room was spacious and comfortable. It had good facilities and equipment for cooking and meals. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Surroundings were also nice. Eidfjord lies in a beautiful valley between mountains at the end of a fjord. There are two markets and many restaurants in the area, although many if the restaurants were closed when we stayed late August. There is also a nice walking route along the river which takes you to a lake beautiful lake, through some iron age burial fields and through beautiful fields above the Eidfjord village. ////// Oltiin täällä yksi yö, koska paikka sijaitsi lähellä Vøringsfossenia, jossa aioimme patikoida. Ei mitään ihmeellistä, mutta hyvää vastinetta rahalle. Tilava huone, hyvät ruuanlaitto- ja ruokailuvälineet. Kylppäri oli tilava ja melko hiljattain uusittu. Ympäristö oli myös oikein kiva. Eidfjord on laakson pohjalla vuonon perällä, joten maisemat ovat huikaisevat. Pari kauppaa ja useita ravintoloita, joista monet oli suljettu elokuun lopulla. Kylästä lähtee joen rantaa kulkeva kävelyreitti, joka johtaa kauniille järvelle, rautakautisten hautakumpujen ja kauniiden peltojen läpi. Pituus noin 6km.

Overall the place is good for the cost. Flooring needed some repair, no soap or shampoo provided, light bulb out and wasn't super clean, lots of stuff laying about outside. But the apar**ents are fairly modern and nice for the money and there was free coffee.

Fin leilighet med alt en trenger for et hygfelig opphold. Komfortable senger, rent og ryddig.

Appartamento vista fiordo, dotato di piccolo angolo cottura, letto non molto comodo, pulizia sufficiente. Il signore che ci ha accolti è stato molto freddo nei modi, alla reception è presente una macchina per il caffè. Presente all'esterno un giardino attrezzato con gazebo, poltroncine, sdraio e barbeque, inoltre sono a disposizione gratuitamente per i clienti diverse biciclette. Diciamo che per chi cerca una soluzione comoda, economica per gli standard norvegesi, senza molte pretese questa potrebbe essere una scelta giusta.

Bra standard rom, beliggenhet (utsikt mot sjøen), bra senger, bra bad, fint service og bestikk. Kjøleskap var elendig pga ødelagt dør til fryserdel (døra var borte). vertinnen sa at det ikke lot seg gjøre med andre løsninger fordi nødløsning brukt i fjor var brutt sammen da. Fryseboksen hadde derfor tykke lag med is - umulig å bruke. Langvarig defekt som ikke er utbedret - dårlig trekk ved motelltilbud
