I highly recommend making the bed with blankets that do not have burn holes in them. An upgrade on bedding would be nice and 2 more pillows would make it much more comfortable. The manager was super nice and the shower was great.

I've been staying at Thunderbird for several years, I travel back and forth from UT to CA. It's a great halfway stop.

Booked room with the understanding they accepted esa animals as it states, and was charged fees that weren’t specifically for animals. It was an “additional family fee”. No other motels/hotels I was charged this fee especially with supporting esa documents. Also when leaving the motel early in the morning there was a homeless person climbing out of the window right next to the room I was staying at. Did not feel safe here at all, needs better security. Do not recommend

I enjoy the Thunderbird. I just need a place to crash when I have business in Elko. It's very inexpensive and that's what I like.

We stay here usually a couple times a year as it is a half way point on our drive to visit kids. Great place to stay away from the bustle. Clean, refinished rooms. The price is right.
