Serinn House

This was the most amazing place. Eren was so accommodating from the right beginning she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and comfortable. The breakfast so so delicious. Everything is walking distance, Eren helped us to organize a car rental the same day which was so much more convenient to go and see places rather than taking tours with pick up and drop off. I would definitely return to this location. The room was so comfortable and cozy, clean everything you could ask for and more. Thank you so much for our stay, we loved every minute.

Caves are my dream accommodation, and Serinn's cave rooms are perfect -- cozy, cool during daytime yet warm at night, and perfectly appointed. Excellent shower and good bed. The inner courtyards is charming to relax in, and the upper breakfast terrace offers terrific views of Urgup. Eren, our host, was the kindest, most enthusiastic and helpful of hosts - she helped us book local guides, drivers and other services, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results.

There are of course dozens of cave hotels to choose from in Cappadocia, but I can't imagine a better choice than Serinn House in Urgup. We stayed in the Stone Room, which is spectacular, but what makes this hotel special is the care that the owner, Eren, herself an enthusiastic traveler, takes to ensure her guests have a fulfilling experience. For example, waking up ridiculously early to ensure we had something to eat before an early-morning day-trip; offering to drive us to and back from dinner in town; ensuring that we had the best guides and balloon experience. The overall ambience of this very small hotel, from having a great breakfast on the terrace with its magnificent views or sitting around the courtyard relaxing with other guests, cannot be overpraised. Do yourself a favour and check Serinn House out when considering your Cappadocia hotel options.

Our room was clean, spacious and charming. The hotel was well-located, a bit uphill from the main part of town. Breakfasts were delicious and filling and the view from the terrace was nice. Most important, Erin was a welcoming, helpful and charming host. There are only five rooms, which made it more special.

Older travellers from NZ and first time to Cappadocia. Eren our host was outstanding. She was so helpful and kind. Eren made restaurant and taxi bookings on our behalf. Nothing was too much trouble. Very professional. Her hotel is very peaceful and relaxing and a short distance to town. The rooms are spacious with contemporary interiors. Highly recommend

We visited for our first foreign family trip since the pandemic and it exceeded all expectations. We felt at home from the time we booked - we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and Eren suggested baking a cake for him which was such a lovely gesture. Eren gave us sincere and very helpful advice on transport, tour bookings, restaurant recommendations and it felt more like staying with a friend. We felt at home from the time we arrived - and we arrived v early - around 9.30am due to an early flight. Eren was extremely accommodating, nothing was too much trouble (including taking us to town in her car every day of our trip) and suggested a tour for the day at a moment’s notice. Eren took care of our hot air balloon trip as well. Eren and her team (including Eren’s lovely dog Findik) made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious - we had homemade menemen (Turkish eggs with tomato and eggplant) and gozleme every morning and on our last morning, there were pancakes as well!! In addition to the freshly made hot food, there is freshly squeezed orange juice, a cold buffet spread with nuts, preserves, fresh melon/strawberries, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, cereal - and it was all tasty. We had two rooms including the deluxe with four poster bed - very comfortable beds, exquisitely designed and furnished. Eren’s personal touch, warmth and generosity made all the difference and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. We look forward to returning in the new season when the weather is cooler for hikes. With all honesty, the manager of the house, Eren, has wonderfully welcomed us with such hospitality that allowed us to easily domesticate in Cappadocia! Her home is authentically the best in the area for you live to see the city from a high spot at a very beautiful home. She offered us so much help that really humbled us. Thank you Serinn House for the beautiful memory and time, truly.

What a wonderful and intimate little hideaway! Serrin House is more B&B than hotel, and is the better for it. The star of the place is the owner and host; she is lovely and warm and goes out of her way to make the stay special. When we had a very early departure our last morning, she woke early and had freshly baked scones packed up for our journey. If you want fancy marble bathrooms and a slick restaurant, this is not your spot. If you want simple charm, lovely and comfortable rooms, a gorgeous view, great breakfast and wonderful hospitality, this is the perfect spot.
