A cozy hotel with and older style of decour, with a decent amount of amenities.
For the price and location a good value for money, breakfast had a decent amount of items and was of a good quality, scrambled egg was from fresh eggs.
We had ordered a double room, and the bathroom was huge, but the bed was what I would describe as a 1.5 person bed, but we could both lay there comfortably
All in all a nice experience

Excellent location right near town square. Very good breakfast. Hot weather with no ac made the room too hot, but helped to open the window. Very good staff.

I have stayed at Ansgar Hotel many times. I always feel very welcome and during the years that have past I think it has just become better and better. Location is the very best and you cannot find a better choice in Esbjerg. Personally I recommend to chose one of the bigger roooms.

Spacious and modern room
Quiet location, although centrally located
Free parking available
- Breakfast was a bit disappointing, both presentation and choice
- Staff at the reception was great, but not at the breakfast
- A little bit old-fashioned the common areas, would need some renovation
