This place is full of character. Couldn't be more central. The staff incredibly caring and attentive. Avoid room number 5. The toilet is outside the room.

Extremely friendly staff, and a very quiet peaceful place to relax. Excellent value for money. We preferred it to another more pricey riad round the corner which we stayed in afterwards!
I felt very at home there and would recommend it! We went as a couple and stayed in a twin room. The family rooms looked nice too. The breakfast was simple and yummy.

This was amazingly good value as a hotel. Room was fine - pretty small with toilet/shower opposite. Building is lovely, and very well located close to entrance of Medina. Staff were helpful. Two down sides - bed was pretty uncomfortable, quite hard and i could feel the springs. Definitely could do with updating. Breakfast is plentiful, but very bread/sugar heavy (bread, pancake, cake, honey, jam, orange juice, coffee/tea). Would be nice to have some fruit.

We had such a lovely time at this Riad. My sister and I moved here after seeing it written about in Lonely Planet. We booked it last minute because we decided to move from a place we had booked ahead of time, and Sammy and Myriam were super accommodating and helpful with this. The Riad is simply beautiful and impeccably clean. I was working on some essays for school and I spent some lovely mornings on the terrace writing. The breakfast was pretty small, so if you are super hungry in the morning you might need to supplement, however, it is included in the price and is delicious. The coffee is wonderful and freshly made, which when I am traveling I always notice! Would love to go back again next time I am in Essaouira.

Endroit super sympa. Je crois que tout à été dit, il ni a rien a ajouter. . Quand on y est venu une fois au Matin Bleu on a envie d'y revenir, nous avons découvert ce printemps, sommes revenus cet automne et y reviendrons. A très bientôt.

Bientôt 20 ans que nous venons presque chaque année aux matins bleus. C’est vous dire ! Pour la gentillesse, la disponibilité, la bienveillance et les conseils des hôtes, Pour la situation du riad au cœur de la médina, mais au calme, loin de l’agitation, Pour le charme de cette maison familiale avec son patio et ses salons reposants Pour sa terrasse où boire un thé à la menthe et prendre son petit-déjeuner (copieux) Pour la qualité des repas concoctés à la demande Pour son rapport qualité/prix imbattable Pour tout ce qui précède et surtout pour l’amitié de Samir et Meryem, nous reviendrons c’est sûr. Très beau Riad, havre de paix dans la médina. Samir et Myriam sont vraiment très accueillants et disponibles notamment pour organiser nos activités, on s’y sent comme chez soi ! Cuisine délicieuse et petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse, un plaisir quotidien !

Hotel Les Martins bleus is een fijne riad midden in het centrum van Essaouira. Alles op loopafstand goed te doen. Schone kamers, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Onze vlucht was omgezet, via *********** kon ik het niet regelen. Bedankt Samir (eigenaar) voor je snelle actie en dat je alles voor ons hebt omgeboekt. Transfer netjes geregeld vanuit luchthaven Marrakech. Zeker een aanrader!
