We stayed as a family for 2 nights. Walking distance (8 minutes) to the town square with the Chris**as markets. You can walk to the train and bus station. We timed it without bags, and it was just over 1 kilometer and took 10 minutes walk. Would be slightly more with bags. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would go back.

I stayed 6 nights here while visiting a friend who lives here. I cannot overstate how nice all staff were. I liked the room too, very comfortable bed. It had a lift area and I recommend getting a room with a third bed in the loft, it allows one or two to spread out if traveling and need space. They have a good breakfast buffet too that is included. Pastries, eggs, salmon, sausages, cheeses, and fruit. They also have a good laundry service and there is a good Italian restaurant located in the same building that is excellent. This is located in a quiet area about a 12 minute nite walk to the Esslingen market place and Kessler. I will definitely stay here when back again!

We needed this to be ok… Clean room at first sight but upon using sanitising wipes as a Covid precaution the dirt that came off things was visible. Non smoking room smelt badly of smoke. Bed linens - under sheet was a rough jersey and pillows and duvet covers where very old and dark yellow and smelt of cigarettes and sweat which to a tired traveller was disgusting. The toilet was rectangular and the toilet seat round. We couldn’t wait to check out and find a decent hotel to recover and rest;

We spent five nights in Esslingen and had chosen am Schillerpark based on reviews and location. As most other reviewers have pointed out the staff is polite and the location is excellent. You are only about a 10 minute walk from the old center and the hotel is easily reached by car and they have a garage which was somewhat small for a large car but still manageable. The breakfast was good and even though the hotel was full during the weekend and the personnel seemed to be in a real hurry the service was polite and quick. As we will be visiting Esllingen on a regular basis as our daughter has moved to Esslingen - next time we won't have to wonder which hotel we'll choose - our choice is am Schillerpark ;)

Decent business hotel, in quiet neighbourhood. Easy, digital check-in if arrive late. Good breakfast. Unobtrusive staff. Comfortable bed, functional room and bathroom. Room was cleaned and fresh towels on second day. Fine for 2 night business trip.

I have stayed at the Schillerpark many times over the years. Consistently comfortable, affordable and clean with a wonderful breakfast every morning and friendly staff. See you again before the end of the year!

Friendly and service minded staff. Excellent hygiene in Covid times, with clear separation and mask mandate inside. Big and clean rooms with all you can wish for (except A/C). WiFi available throughout the hotel. Generous Breakfast Buffé with lots of choices. Short walking distance to the old town of Esslingen.
