Premier Inn Exeter City Centre

The location of this hotel is excellent! Lovely, quiet area and close to the cathedral and high street. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and the best pillows I’ve experienced in all my travels. The room had a kettle for tea and coffee and a hair dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. If you choose to have breakfast out, try the Cosy Club next door for a quirky atmosphere and delicious food!

Always choose Premier Inns whenever we travel the Uk, as always clean, modern and friendly service. One thing and one thing only……no toilet brush in toilet!!!

Great location. Opposite train station and near town and the university. Very comfortable bed. Wi fi poor though. Okay breakfast. The eggs were poor and the selection of pastries and bread was very limited. Rest was okay though. Helpful staff.

I stayed for 2 nights. It would have been my late husband's 70th birthday on 26 May so I decided to re visit Killerton House and Powderham Castle, we went these properties along time ago but never returned. When I booked a Premier Plus room as these were only rooms available, the standard rooms being all booked so I had one. Lovely comfortable winged chair with foot rest, coffee machine with clear instructions on how to use it, a fridge with bottled water and Green & Blacks mini choc bars. The sound proofing was wonderful I didn't hear anything! At checking in I was asked if I would like my room cleaned and I did. My bed was made up and my coffee, chocs and coffee replenished. When having my evening meal on my late husband's birthday, I mentioned it to a lovely staff member. I was given a lovely surprise 'on the house' a little bottle of prosecco and dessert. The hotel is within a short distance from the cathedral in a quiet area. Excellent stay, lovely staff. I would come here again.

Very good. Friendly staff. Good restaurant serving evening meals and a breakfast buffet. They have a luggage store to keep you bags if you check out early. Very close to Exeter Central station and the High Street. Exeter Cathedral is a few minutes away - from there you can pick up one of the free red coat guided tours. a good place to stay if you have business in or just want to visit Exeter.

I think the hotel is undergoing refurbishment. It was clean and tidy. However…..there is no Wi-Fi or should I say in a three day stay I had about one hour’s Wi-Fi and that kept dropping out. I mentioned it and was told other customers had reported this. So do something about it! It wasn’t even as good as dial-up. I have reported it to Premier Inn officially.

Great experience at this hotel second time we went. Breakfast was great choice , very well cooked and great variety. We also had dinner with the kids there and was delicious, the chef came to our table to ensure everything was good . Great hotel and great service from reception , restaurant and housekeeping.

We had settled in after coming back from. A friends at 10.30pm We got into bed my self and partner however we could hear people in the corridor talking the fan was on so loud it disrupted out sleep even after we turned off the heating it was still making noise the pillows was so think and the bed it self was not comfy after we managed to get to sleep we was awakened by this blearing alarm we had to quickly leave the hotel as all the guests and was made to stand outside in the cold no shoes no socks just our pjs only 2 night staff on they was stressed and anxious all emergency services came out nothing was said to us no explanation nothing! We was all very worried some families left in taxis with their young children and others had to stand around when we eventually got back in at 5am we tried to have a hot shower to ease the cold off ourselves however there was not running hot water over all this was the most terrible disastrous stay ever it did not help my partners anxiety and mental health as we was both very scared.

Had a wonderful time Brilliant staff especially at 2am when we had a small issue with the ac not working and leaking We were asked if we wanted to change rooms we declined as they had already changed us to this room Food was lovely and hot Small issue custard came out cold 🥶 Thank you to Gemma and all the rest of the staff for the wine and goodies I received on my birthday 🎂
