An exceptional hotel experience! Ideal location, modern rooms with really comfortable beds, amazing restaurants, lovely sitting areas inside and outside the hotel to visit....and the breakfast is NEXT LEVEL! and the town is beyond charming. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful hotel in wonderful small village. Great service from friendly, helpful check in. Very nice Double shower. Greeting bottle of wine, water and nibbles at no extra cost. Fabulous bed. Decor of room, more scandavian? , nicely done. Breakfast and lunch both outstanding. Price excellent value and experience. Many walking trails from the village.

This is an exceptional hotel and well worth the few extra miles to visit on a holiday to La Rioja. The enthusiasm and care shown by each and every member of staff at this family run establishment is something to behold. From the moment we arrived at reception, the personal service at breakfast from Virginia and dinner at El Portal, we were made to feel like really special guests. We loved the CD in the room, jacuzzi bath and super comfy bed. But above all it is the care and attention of staff towards the quality of food and service, that sets this hotel apart. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful, small hotel in the lovely village of Ezcaray. Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our driving holiday. Very stylish hotel with very high standards throughout. The breakfast was outstanding. Each course was fresh and served at your table. The evening meals in the Tapas Restaurant were superb. Very tasty with lots of detail in each dish. Compliments to the chef. A special thank you to 'Pablo' our waiter for the last 2 nights who was very professional, efficient and patient with our lack of Spanish. We would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Just finished our gastronomic extravaganza.......... A fantastic journey of food through three different rooms. Small plates of heavenly creations. Everything delicious. Highly recommend this experience....... A little off the beaten track but massively worth the visit.

This is a very special hotel. It is somehow both cozy and stylish. Rooms are well thought out and have lots of nice little features. Food here is exceptional and a visit to it's El Portal should not be missed. But, reserve it well in advance. Within just a couple of days we found ourselves on a first name basis with staff. I'd be delighted to return here anytime.

Hotel Relais & Chateaux en un lugar precioso; trato excelente, ambiente ideal, se nota que cuidan muy bien todos los detalles. Imperdonable perderse el desayuno, buenisimo, con productos caseros, de la tierra. Embutidos, bolleria, pan tostado, cereales, huevos, puedo vovler a saborearlo mientras lo escribo. Personal atento, a destacar Susana y Virginia! Bellísimas personas. Agradecidos de nuestra estancia.

Un hotel muy especial en un enclave fantástico. Su carácter familiar, unido al trato dispensado por el magnífico personal, así como sus instalaciones de primer nivel, hacen de la experiencia algo inolvidable. El desayuno no es especialmente variado y sin embargo todos sus elementos son de la máxima calidad, para dejar satisfecho al paladar más exigente. Un hotel formidable al que, sin duda, he de regresar…
