Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fairfield-North

We had an overnight stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fairfield and we were very impressed by the excellent and friendly service, the cleanliness of the hotel and our room, and the delicious breakfast. Our room was clean, roomy, and the bed and pillows were comfortable for a sound restful sleep. We look forward to visiting again.

At first I was thoroughly impressed. The womsm working the night desk is a gem. She's kind, warm, and will talk your ear off. I truly enjoyed my check in and check out experience because of her. The day staff and whatever manager are either related or friends. I almost always use ******* to book. Gives me options. My job ran over by a day, so i needed to add a day. The lady at the desk told me that there was nothing she could do, i needed to call *******. Well, ******* says to contact the hotel. I'm not going to contact ******* again, only to be told to contact the hotel again. When I reached out to corporate, the manager backed her desk clerk. Look, don't take my word alone, read reviews on other sites like G Maps.

So far, we have stayed at 3 Holiday Inn Express's on this trip, and this one in Fairfield was really nice. Very clean, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, reasonable priced concession store though not well stocked. Nice, friendly service.The location was good as well. Very nice stay.

Staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Beds are very comfortable!

The property itself is nice. Rooms are quiet and clean. Front Desk Staff Jessica is awful. I was given the wrong room for an occupancy of 6 I booked. When calling down after arrival she hung up on my 9 times. YES 9 when trying to explain the issue and discuss an alternate room. Instead of offering to move me to the room I booked or help at all. She only said I could book a 2nd room and pay for 2. Instead of just moving us to the correct room, which WAS available with the pullout sofa. I then had to go downstairs and have them call a nice manager to get her to provide any help at all. The manager moved us. She has no business working at a front desk or with people at all. I have stayed at this hotel before during trips to Dallas and never had an issue. Maybe she is new or just does not know how to work at a hotel front desk. But she was terrible. I can not believe she is allowed to treat guests like this. It was late and we were tired AND we booked a room for occupancy of 6. I confirmed it by calling the day before AND when checking in. They even gave me the extra bedding at check in to make the 3rd bed. Got in the room, and no 3rd bed. Not sure if Jessica is really her name. But avoid her if you can.

I enjoyed my stay...clean room. ..quiet atmosphere...excellent breakfast...good customer service ..will be staying there again very soon.

Great stay, the pool needed to be cleaned though.

Room is immaculately clean. The first red flag didnt happen. I checked in with one of the best service concierges Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. The whole hotel was spotless. I should have gotten her name. She told me, but i dont listen well most of the time. But i am going go down there and ask because she deserves a great rating.

Just an overnight stay but was clean and safe and easy check-in/out.
