Front desk at check in was very rude. I booked through the app so I wasn’t able to pick a pet friendly room, even though I had emailed them a week prior to my reservation & no response. At check in I was told all pet friendly rooms are booked & they may not be able to accommodate me with my pet. Also felt racially discriminated by the woman at the fromt desk. Mind you it was also 11 pm at night. I spoke to management who was very nice and found a room for us. However there was no cable or tv for the entire trip as they claimed it was being fixed. The toilet in our room was clogged at arrival and bathroom was pretty outdated. Other than that everything else went pretty smoothly.

If you’re even considering booking here, let me save you the trouble—don’t. This place isn't even deserving of one star. The room was beyond neglected. Paint is literally peeling from the walls and ceiling, and the whole place just feels run-down. The shower and faucets leak constantly, adding to the damp, unpleasant atmosphere. Everywhere you look, there’s rust—it’s like the room hasn’t seen a proper cleaning or maintenance in ages. And the bedding? Let’s just say it’s as comfortable as cardboard. If I could rate this zero stars, I would. If you have any other option—camping, sleeping in your car, anything—take it.

We spent a weekend during the Golden Getaway weekend at Seacrest resort with our two golden retrievers. To say the location is breathtaking is an understatement. Being able to watch the sunset every evening from our oceanfront room and take in the view in the morning from our balcony was out of this world. Our pups had an amazing time swimming the entire weekend and we had a much needed R&R time on a quieter beach during the off-season. The staff is amazing and very helpful whenever we had an encounter. The manager Jay and the hotel mascot Cooper couldn’t have been more welcoming. We will definitely be back!

I was impressed with the new management this year. They made some very nice changes to the pool/ bar areas and dining restaurants. The check in process is very fast, and rooms were ready by 2 pm the latest, last year we had to wait until 6 pm in July ! More beach chairs are added, so there’s no shortage anymore. The booking and cancellation is much easier now, and the cancellation policy is 10 days instead of 21, which is big plus ! Going to stay there again? Absolutely !

The good: great beach, very swimmable, and water -even for June- was cool but pleasant. Arguably best beach of any hotel on the Cape. Food and beverage were good for what we experienced (drinks from Lantern, pizza from BBPC, lunch from The Hatch). Unfortunately the outdoor bar was closed, and there was no beach service. Not the end of the world. The bad: this place is pretty shabby. Some of the rooms have been refinished and are nice….others not so much. We had a two bedroom suite; our view was a construction truck parked up against one window, a back hoe and port-a-potty out the other. Kind of tough way to spend almost $1000. There are a lot of small things wrong everywhere: multiple holes drilled in the wall trying to mount toilet paper holder, drapes pulled off their rings, cigarette butts piled up outside entryways, the hallways are disgusting, and trash is just all over the place. In the pool, one of the light units was pulled out and just left sitting poolside. Still connected by a cable to its mount. I just don’t think there’s any pride taken in the place, which is a shame. There’s definitely a market for this place, and there were plenty of people there for a mid-June weekday. So many things would be so simple to fix with any care and training. The beach is what sort of saves this place. That said, if you can find even somewhat comparable rates for the Chatham Bars Inn or something on the Vineyard, go there.

Stayed here for a family vacation. To say this resort is filthy would be an understatement. We were supposed to stay three nights and left a day early because we just could not get through another night sleeping and showering in this hotel. Rooms are barley cleaned each day. There were black hairs on my bed the first night. Sinks were never wiped down. There is construction. Some of the amenities like onsite ice cream shops are closed. As a person receiving chemotherapy things need to be clean. I had mentioned that to the manager at the front desk and she didn’t seem to care. We would not return.

For our anniversary we sprung for an ocean front room. Well , we had a view all right - of a very large backhoe parked there. We dealt with that. Next we had no hot water when trying to take a shower before dinner. After calling the front desk, The “engineer “ came to the room to tell us that because we were at the end of the hallway ( ocean front) we were “last on the pipeline” to get hot water and we would have to wait. I emailed the hotel when we got home and did not get a reply. So much for our splurge ….disappointing

I was taken by the quaintness combined with the updated technological amenities of the resort. My room had the feel of an older seaside (or Capeside) hotel yet had newer flooring, a comfortable bed, coffee maker and electronic upgrades that blended an older feel with today's amenities. The restaurants were pleasant and bright, given the time of year with a very attentive staff and good food and drink. The hotel staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and cheery. I appreciated their attentiveness and positive attitude. As it was November I did not spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas but I did manage to walk around the area and found it to be quite charming and comfortable. My wife has never been to Cape Cod and I have mentioned to her that we should consider spending some time at your resort during the warmer weather. Went to the Golden Getaway Weekend for the second time this year and had a blast again! This event is really great for a weekend away with your golden retriever - lots of fun activities and things to do! The hotel itself is awesome with nice rooms, great food, the beautiful beach and views, but this event is a really unique and fun experience for all!
