Charme Hotel Villa Principe di Fitalia

Where do I start. The interior of the hotel, feels like the designer had a day off. A mismatch of everything going on. The Spa and Gym however, for a hotel are superb and I can not say enough good things. The Hotel and complex is prefab and feels pretty cheap, the staff are friendly but very slow. Breakfast was greasy if you try the omlet and the coffee is terrible. No cushions on any of the sun loungers, therefore you are restricted on what you can lay on. Making 80% of the beds unusable. The weather (1st week of sept 23) hasn’t been good and therefore you realise how much out on a limb, this place is and nothing to do, once the workouts finished. Approx 8km to the city centre, so not too bad and the centre is very nice. Sound proofing between rooms is non existent, so bring your ear plugs.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. It is very nice, everyone is very friendly. The indoor pool from the spa is great. The breakfast was very good and you can also choose from a menu some dishes. The coffee is also great. The room was big, good mattress and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay.

Firstly I couldn’t believe how quick I had a response to a few special requested I had requested for my partners 40th birthday before arriving at the hotel, they went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble, the ladies in reception were so kind and welcoming and the hotel was so clean, and smelt amazing - our room was so spacious, clean and had everything you could want inside, I was so pleased with the amount of space I haven’t yet experience that much space for a room during our trip to Sicily before, there is a free service to take you to the city, it took 15 minutes and we were so impressed with this, the drivers are so kind too and really cared about they job they were doing . breakfast was perfect we had everything we wanted and for us location was perfect , I can honestly say I have paid a lot more per stay and never had a service like I have had here - this hotel goes above and beyond. we got to chill all day by the pool and see ortiga in the evening and have the best of both worlds we will be back, thank you so so much

Our stay was an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived; we were offered a glass of prosecco by the lady on reception, which was brought to us whilst we waited in the outside seating area. The spa facilities are top notch, the gym is well equipped with everything you would expect from a modern gym. The indoor pool was fabulous, with loungers and casual seating areas, which were all very clean and hygienic. The two outdoor pools are fabulous. The larger pool was cleaned most days, so it is always hygienic & inviting. There is a plentiful supply of day beds and sun loungers around the pool, you really are spoilt for choice. The poolside bar was open during the weekend. There is also a children’s pool with a flume and water umbrella. We used the hotel minibus to visit Ortigia. You just need to pre book your departure and pick up times with reception. It is free and available for everyone staying at the hotel. The cleaning staff were very hard working and made an exceptional job of keeping our suite spotless. In the suites private garden area, there were loungers, a sofa and a coffee table along with a hot tub and sauna. Our room was modern, light and roomy with great air con in all areas. We had 2 TVs, but we didn’t use either of them as the hotel facilities and grounds were too good to spend time inside. The staff went out of their way to ensure we wanted for nothing and provided first class service throughout our stay. The waiting staff at both breakfast and dinner were very knowledgeable and helped us choose wine with our dinner on several occasions. It was my partners birthday whilst we were on holiday and they made him a birthday cake, which was very thoughtful. The food is a gastronomic delight. It is beautifully presented and well cooked. Do ask for the specials as they are such a treat. We had a rib eye steak one evening and it was mouth-watering. The staff really did make our holiday fabulous, they are attentive without being intrusive and we made some wonderful memories at Principe di Fitalia, which we will cherish forever.

Really lovely stay, great facilities indoor and outdoor and the service team were just lovely. Free shuttle bus to town which we used rather than drive. Short drive to beaches. We treated ourselves to a room with a hot tub which was a super treat on an evening when the temperature dropped.

Great family-friendly hotel! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel had a variety of amenities for kids, including a play area and a pool. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommend for families!

We were greeted by lovely Santino and Gihaan who were both so welcoming throughout our entire stay here, they were practically like family. So accommodating and kind they couldn’t do enough and we as a family are so grateful! They are an asset to the hotel management along with Luiggi, Michele, Georja, Guiseppe and Paolo who made us all feel so relaxed and welcome. The facilities were fabulous, spa was amazing and both the indoor and outdoor pools were lovely. A shuttle is provided by the hotel to Ortiga which is so nice to get some street food and authentic pizza/pasta as food at the hotel is a little limited and expensive for what you get especially if you have children plus you can see the square which is magical and do some shopping too! The best beach was 45 mins away called Agua beach which you have to pay for but it’s worth it sandy beach with clear water and great food. The hotel was not overly busy just how we like it more importantly we celebrated our daughters birthday and our daughter really warmed to Santino due to his friendly persona. We believe not only the facilities should be fabulous but the hotel staff too, to make a memorable enjoyable holiday. They were genuine people and we hope to see you all again! It was definitely a relaxing holiday just what we needed and so many facilities to keep the kids entertained too like a kids play room, kids pool and tennis court. Thank you once again.

We only stayed one night at the hotel after our flight home was cancelled at the last minute, but had an excellent experience. The entire hotel staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating - they let us check in early and check out late, the lady in the spa gave us an evening tour despite closing up as we wandered down for a look, the restaurant opened a little early so our kids could have pasta and we could get them off to bed for a much needed early night, and everyone at lunch, dinner and breakfast was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, rooms are large and comfortable and the pool area is fantastic. Highly recommended

We were very disappointed with the service, the poor attitude and hospitality at the hotel. We were travelling with 2 babies under 1 year and they were unable to heat for us their pre-cooked meals. Their menu has no choice for vegetarians, making us eat out, that resulted in harsh and rude treatment from all the hotel staff. We also felt that they were racist toward us and just very rude overall. We were a family with 8 adults and we paid a lot of money for a hotel that classifies itself as 5 star, but it has been one of the worst experiences in terms of hospitality and service. I would not recommend it to anyone.
