Premier Inn Farnborough Town Centre

We visited our daughter for Mother’s Day and stayed at the Premier inn. At check in no one on desk, rang bell twice and then gentleman appeared, very apologetic for the wait. I gave my name and said I’ve booked two rooms, he said I don’t think so - but then he did find our booking. He wasn’t sure which was the family room so we sorted that out for ourselves. Room was generally ok but very dirty sticky menu I had to clean with an antibacterial wipe. Beds really comfy as always and town centre location perfect with non expensive overnight parking close by. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we know most Beefeaters don’t have good reviews - instead we went to Wetherspoons where at least you get what you pay for and know what to expect. Only other comment about the room (103) was there is a crack in the bathroom sink glazing and a large scuff mark on the wall by the interconnecting door. Borrowed an iron and ironing board from a super helpful member of staff. We will definitely stay again as the hotel is convenient for a short stay visiting family.

There are no words to describe the disgusting 🤢 experience we have just had. I’m struggling to come to terms with how disorganised and inattentive the beefeater employees were. We came in, having PRE-ORDERED, and were forced to wait for over an hour for food (if one could even call it that) to arrive!! After peeling back the deep chargrilled crust of my chicken burger, the cold, flaccid chip remainders were almost inedible. After ANOTHER seriously lengthy wait, we had to retrieve and waiter our own desserts because the staff simply didn’t notice. Despite the lovely room and stunning views of the trap den of Farnborough, I would rather DIE than step in another Beefeater. We’ve left well-rested yet severely malnourished and disappointed…

Nice room good air on. AWFUL food. It was cold and took over an hr. Poor service. Clearly very understaffed. Good music and vibe though. Forced to deliver our own food. Overall VERY disappointed, came away hungry :/

Excellent location for Farnborough exhibition centre. Do not be put off by there being no parking as multi story is next door. Staff welcoming and room high standard as always. Bar and restaurant also friendly, good food and service.

Room was fine, usual Premier Inn standard, no complaints at all. Breakfast however was dreadful. As a solo female I was directed towards a table next to large family groups which I declined and happily sat in a quiet area. However the breakfast which took ages to be served to me was completely cold. The families around me who ordered much later were served at the same time had breakfasts which looked hot and which they seemed to enjoy. Mine was returned and the waiter, after putting his hand in mine confirmed it was cold.

Okay hotel in the centre of Farnborough, fairly close to the railway and shopping opportinities. It's a bit worn out and cleaning could be better, but amazingly friendly staff. The tv in my room was unplugged, so instead of waiting for maintenance the next day, they switched me to another room with no hassle. The continental breakfast was quite disappointing.

The Premier Inn rooms are great for my family. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Though there weren't enough towels, cups or glasses for the 3 of us. The Beefeater restaurant was a let down. The evening meal was cold, the service was terrible and the steak pretty poor. The breakfast service was good and the food hot and fress

we stayed here as it was close to the function room for a family party and was reasonably priced. the staff were friendly and helpful. the rooms are clean and comfy with all required amenities. i was concerned about the parking as it states no on site facility but the Sainsbury's overflow car park (£5.25 for the night) was behind the hotel, so not far to walk. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful - just make sure you book as it gets busy.

Just a few minutes walk from the train station and close to McDonalds. There is a Sainsburys opposite and a good indoor shopping precinct. About a 15 min walk to the race. The room was great, a good size and comfortable beds. Check in was fast and continental breakfast very enjoyable. It was a very good value stay and we are keen to return next year.
